HAPPENING NOW AT THE ILOILO CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY! 📚✨

To continually elevate our service and foster a culture of reading in our communities, the Iloilo City Public Library is conducting a Library Management and Collection Management Orientation and Refresher.

Headed by our dedicated Librarians, this learning session aims to equip our library staff, officers-in-charge, our new entrants, and community volunteers with updated library standards, efficient collection policies, and operational best practices.

By strengthening our library systems—from cataloging to community outreach—we ensure that our public libraries and barangay reading centers remain vibrant, accessible, and reader-centered spaces for every Ilonggo. 🏙️📖

New Additions at Library sa Merkado!

We are pleased to welcome a new steel shelf and board games at the 3rd stall of Library sa Merkado, Central Market, further enhancing the space for reading, learning, and recreation.

The new steel shelf was made possible through the efforts of the Technical Institute of Iloilo City (TIIC), providing additional space for organizing and showcasing our library collection.

Special thanks to Ma’am Matty Treñas for generously providing the board games, adding a fun and engaging learning experience for children, families, and library users.

These meaningful contributions help make Library sa Mercado a more welcoming space for reading, learning, discovery, and play.
