Nationwide anti-drug operations have hit hard- significant quantities of illegal drugs seized, thousands of high-value drug personalities arrested, clandestine drug laboratories and drug dens dismantled, and more barangays declared drug-cleared. These achievements reflect the commitment of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in collaboration with other law enforcements agencies, local government units, and other stakeholders, to safer, drug-free communities under the Bagong Pilipinas agenda of the administration of President Ferdinand R Marcos, Jr.

The government’s anti-drug reporting platform, “Isumbong Mo Sa PDEA”, continues to strengthen the campaign against illegal drugs by encouraging citizens to confidentially report drug-related activities and personalities to authorities.,

From July 1, 2022 to April 30, 2026, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) received thousands of reports through the platform, demonstrating sustained public participation in the national anti-drug efforts under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Data from the monitoring and reporting system showed that PDEA received a total of 3,681 anti-drug information reports from concerned citizens. Of these, 780 reports were validated through proper verification and intelligence assessment procedures. Among the validated reports, 672 resulted in successful negation operations, translating to an 86 percent operational success rate.

PDEA said the figures reflect the Agency’s strengthened focus on intelligence validation, inter-agency coordination and prompt operational response. The Agency likewise emphasized that while public participation remains vital in supporting law enforcement efforts, not all reports received yielded positive results after validation and assessment.

“Despite these challenges, our operatives ensure that every report is treated seriously and undergoes thorough evaluation to guarantee lawful, accurate, and intelligence-driven operations,” said PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani R Nerez.

“While we encourage the public to continue sharing information, we also remind everyone to provide accurate and verifiable details. Reliable information greatly improves our ability to conduct timely and effective operations,” the PDEA Chief emphasized.

PDEA reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening intelligence validation mechanisms, protecting the confidentiality of informants, and sustaining collaborative efforts with communities in addressing the illegal drug problem. Moving forward, the Agency is expected to further enhance its digital reporting systems and strengthen coordination with local stakeholders in support of the national anti-drug campaign.

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 | ₱473K Worth of Shabu Seized in Antique and Guimaras*

Anti-drug operations conducted by the PNP and PDEA resulted in the arrest of two high-value drug personalities, including a barangay elected official, and the confiscation of more than ₱470,000 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Antique and Guimaras on May 13 and 16, 2026.

In Antique, operatives of the ANTPPO Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) together with the Culasi Municipal Police Station and PDEA RO6 Antique Provincial Office, conducted a buy-bust operation at around 8:47 PM on May 13, 2026, in Brgy. Esperanza, Culasi, Antique.

The operation resulted in the arrest of alias “Enteng,” 31 years old.

Recovered during the operation were approximately 54 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱405,000, buy-bust money amounting to ₱7,500, and a cigarette pack.

Meanwhile, in a separate operation in Brgy. Bacjao, Buenavista, Guimaras at around 5:27 PM on May 16, 2026, the PNP-GPPO PDEU together with PDEA Guimaras Provincial Office, the Buenavista Police Station, and the Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested alias “Jojo,” a 50-year-old barangay kagawad.

Seized from the suspect were six heat-sealed sachets containing approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱68,000, along with a marked ₱500 bill, four pieces of aluminum foil, one coin purse, and one disposable lighter.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, while the Guimaras suspect will additionally face charges under Section 12 of the same law.

Authorities emphasized that violations involving the sale and possession of illegal drugs carry severe penalties up to life imprisonment and fines ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of pesos. Officials further warned that public servants and individuals engaged in the illegal drug trade will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law as part of the government’s intensified anti-illegal drug campaign.

𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗨 𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦 | PDEA Nets 3 HVTs in Iloilo Raid

Operatives led PDEA Guimaras Provincial Office together with PDEA RO6 Airport Interdiction Unit, PDEA Iloilo and the Philippine Coast Guard led the dismantling of a suspected drug den and the arrest of three suspects in Barangay Barasan Este, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo on the night of May 10, 2026, 10:50 PM.

Arrested during the operation were identified as alias “Banjo,” 51, alias “Pingping,” 49, and ‘Joe,' 57.

Authorities confiscated six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately seven grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price value amounting to Php47,600.

Also recovered during the operation were a marked Php500 bill used as buy-bust money, cellular phones, a coin purse, an improvised scoop, lighters, aluminum foil strips, a tweezer, tooter, several empty sachets, and a rolled aluminum foil.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violations of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, which include the sale, maintenance of a drug den, visiting a drug den, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia which carry severe penalties under the law, including up to life imprisonment and substantial fines.

INTERVENTION PROGRAMS UPDATE

As of April 2026, a total of 30,076 barangays nationwide have been declared drug-cleared — a testament to the collective commitment of communities, local governments, and partner agencies in building safer and healthier communities.

Alongside these achievements, thousands of individuals have been reached through intervention and reformation programs aimed at transformation and reintegration:

📌 Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) – 337,966 completers
📌 General Intervention (G.I.) – 85,818 completers
📌 Balay Silangan Reformation Program (BSRP) – 18,776 drug reformists
📌 Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Program (DATRP) – 3,480 completers

These figures reflect that the fight against illegal drugs is not only about enforcement — it is also about recovery, support, and giving individuals a second chance to rebuild their lives.
