The 2nd Quarterly PES’ Meeting, hosted by the Province of Iloilo, successfully brought together all Provincial Election Supervisors of the Region and Election Officers of Iloilo Province for a meaningful and productive gathering.

RED Atty. Dennis L. Ausan discussed important updates and key matters relevant to the Commission. He also delivered a lecture on recent election cases, highlighting significant jurisprudence that guides and strengthens the conduct of elections.

The active participation of all Election Officers made the meeting a valuable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and reaffirming our commitment to efficient, lawful, and credible electoral service.

Nakikiisa ang Commission on Elections sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 anibersaryo ng kasarinlan ng ating bansa at paggunita sa kabayanihan ng ating kapwa Pilipino na matapang na lumaban para sa bayan upang matamasa ang minimithing kalayaan.

Ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang tungkol sa mga naipanalong laban, kundi sa kalayaang bumoto at pumili ng tamang lider para sa ating magandang kinabukasan.

To promote environmental awareness and sustainability, an Orientation on the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) was conducted at the COMELEC Integrated Field Office (IFO) for building occupants composed of personnel from ORED VI, OPES Iloilo, and OEO Iloilo City.

The orientation provided personnel with a better understanding of how the STP operates, its role in protecting the environment, and the importance of proper practices in maintaining its efficiency. Through this activity, personnel were made more aware of their shared responsibility in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of the facility

COMELEC Region VI, through RED Atty. Dennis L. Ausan, signed a Deed of Usufruct with the Provincial Government of Guimaras represented by Governor Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD on June 9, 2026.

The agreement ensures the continued use and development of the site serving as the Office of the Provincial Election Supervisor in Guimaras, further strengthening COMELEC's capacity to deliver efficient electoral services to the public.

The COMELEC, represented by Regional Election Director (RED) Atty. Dennis L. Ausan, signs the Deed of Donation for a parcel of land intended for the future site of the COMELEC office in the Municipality of Tibiao, Antique. The said site was given by the Municipality of Tibiao, Antique represented by Hon. Klemens G. Bandoja, Municipal Mayor.

This milestone underscores the strong partnership between COMELEC and the LGU of Tibiao in promoting accessible, efficient, and responsive electoral services for the people of Tibiao, Antique.

COMELEC expresses its sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Tibiao for its support and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and public service.
