This 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Region VI, joins the nation in celebrating 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞, “𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧. 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧. 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧.”

Together with our key shelter agencies and partners, we continue to work toward safe, decent, affordable, and resilient homes and communities for every Filipino family.

15TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK. For 15 consecutive weeks now, the Central Office and all 17 Regional Offices (ROs) sustain the Zero Overdue on Regulatory Applications.

Under the existing policies, the ROs are given 15 days to act on all applications either through approval, denial or issuance of Notice of Deficiency of Requirements (NDR).

The DHSUD Central Office-based Housing and Real Estate Development Regulation Bureau and all 17 ROs have certified that they have no pending applications beyond the prescribed period since June.

PUBLIC ADVISORY. Pursuant to Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 136, s. 2026, suspending work in government offices on 28 September 2026 starting at 1:00 in the afternoon, in observance of the 34th National Family Week and “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day, please be informed that the DHSUD Central and Regional Offices will be open from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm tomorrow, 28 September 2026 (Monday).

Regular operations will resume on 29 September 2026 (Tuesday).

Work in DHSUD Regional Office VI will be suspended starting 1PM on Monday, 28 September 2026, following Memorandum Circular No. 136 and pursuant to Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992) which declared the last week of September of every year as Family Week, and Proclamation No. 326 (s. 2012) which declared the fourth Monday of September of every year as "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga" Day.

Operations shall resume on 29 September 2026 (Tuesday).

As part of the month-long celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Region VI joins the nationwide Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall Signing.

DHSUD VI personnel came together to put into action a shared commitment to public service and to the Department’s mandate of promoting adequate, affordable, safe, and sustainable human settlements for Filipino families.

The commitment wall serves as a simple yet meaningful reminder of the responsibility of every public servant—to serve with integrity, respond to the needs of the people, and contribute to building better homes and communities.

With Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan, DHSUD Region VI remains committed to delivering responsive services and advancing human settlements that help create safer, more livable, and sustainable communities across Western Visayas.
