🌊 Discover "Megalodon: Giants of the Sea," a fascinating new exhibit featuring two ancient fossilized teeth of Otodus megalodon discovered right in Jordan, Guimaras.

Get an up-close look at the teeth of the massive prehistoric apex predator that once roamed our seas.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) announces the launch of 𝘐𝘨-𝘈𝘮𝘱𝘰 𝘕𝘪𝘯̃𝘰 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘪: 𝘈𝘯 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹, to be held on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺. at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 in 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Published by the NHCP, this book examines the history, architectural forms, artistic details, and cultural contexts of eight surviving Spanish-period cemeteries in Iloilo. It highlights these often-overlooked heritage spaces as expressions of faith, memory, artistry, and community, contributing to the growing scholarship on Philippine colonial art and architecture.
