ILOILO CITY PREPARES FOR SAFE AND ORDERLY UNDAS 2025
The city government of Iloilo is implementing strict safety measures for Undas 2025, based on Executive Order No. 108.
During a press conference held on October 27, 2025, the Public Order and Safety Management Office (POSMO) announced updates on the cityโs preparations.
Among the key points discussed were traffic rerouting, vendor regulations, assistance desks, restrictions, and safety rules.
Uldarico Garbanzos, deparment head of POSMO, said the city will strictly enforce cemetery regulations during Undas 2025.
These include prohibitions on alcoholic beverages, poisonous and combustible materials, unregistered drones, unlicensed fi****ms or those without carry permits, gambling, large speakers and videoke machines, overnight stays, and littering.

As part of the preparation, Iloilo City Police Office Director PCol. Kim Legada reported that a total of 1,100 uniformed personnel will be deployed from October 29 to November 3.
Legada also added that assistance desks will be set up in all cemeteries starting October 30.
He reminded parents to place emergency contact details on their children in case of separation.
โGinapanawagan ta ang aton mga ginikanan nga magbutang sang piece of paper nga may contact number kag person in case of emergency nga madula ang bata sa cemetery,โ Legada said.
Meanwhile, six major cemeteries will have temporary road closures on November 1, including La Paz Catholic Cemetery, Jaro Catholic Cemetery, Mandurriao Public Cemetery, Tanza Cemetery, and Arevalo Public Cemetery.
"We will be deploying 380 personnel para ini sa aton traffic management operation sa mga patyo nga nakita naton nga ginadugok gid permi sang mga tawo kag may traffic concern," said Garbanzos.
He added that they also called the private cemetery managers to coordinate their traffic schemes and enforcement of EO 108.
On the other hand, 340 stalls have been assigned to flower vendors, according to Hannah Almira Rubio, Officer-in-Charge of the Special Services Division.
Under Executive Order No. 108, vendors are only allowed in specific areas: Yulo Drive and part of Osmeรฑa Street in Arevalo, M.H. del Pilar Street in Molo, Oรฑate Street near the plaza in Mandurriao, Iznart Street in City Proper, and Rizal Street in Jaro.
Flower vending will officially start on October 28, 2025 and must be dismantled by the end of November 2, 2025, as stated in Executive Order No. 108-A. (Iloilo City PIO)
