Dead on arrival sa ospital ang 25 anyos nga lalaki matapos makabunggo ang iya ginamaneho nga motorsiklo sa naka-park nga truck sa higad sang dalan sa Brgy. Malusgod, Pototan, Iloilo mga las-2:30 sang aga, Agosto 26, 2026.

Ang biktima ang ginkilala kay alyas "Tian", single kag residente Brgy. Iwa Ilaya, Pototan, Iloilo.

Sa interview sang GMA Super Radyo Iloilo kay PMaj Dominick Parreño, hepe sang Pototan Municipal Police Station, ginpahayag sini nga sandig sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon sang kapulisan, halin sa isa ka hotel sa banwa ang biktima kag papauli na kuntani sa ila balay sang nakabunggo ang iya ginamaneho nga motorsiklo sa naka-park nga delivery truck sa higad sang dalan.

Bangud sang insidente, nakaagum sang pilas sa ulo, nagkalain-lain nga parte sang lawas, kag sa pribado nga parte sang lawas ang biktima.

Gindala ang biktima sa ospital apang gindeklarar nga dead on arrival.

Gin-ako man sang pamilya sang biktima sa kapulisan nga nakainom ang ila himata.

Wala sang helmet ang biktima sang natabu ang insidente. Wala man sang narekober ang kapulisan nga driver's license.

Ginklaro sang Pototan PNP nga wala na-hit and run ang biktima bangud wala sang ano man nga indikasyon sa crime scene nga nagapakita nga nalapakan ang biktima ukon ang motorsiklo sini.

Wala man sang nakita nga indikasyon MDRRMO suno sa Pototan PNP nga posible nalapakan ang biktima.

Preparado naman suno sa hepe ang mga dokumento sa pagpasaka sang kaso nga reckless imprudence resulting to homicide sa driver sang truck pananglitan magdesisyon ang pamilya sang biktima nga magpasaka sang kaso.

Natalana ang pag-istoryahanay sang duha ka kampo sa Agosto 31 ukon Setyembre 1, 2026.

ISABELA ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT SCHEME FOILED BY PNP-DMW TASK FORCE

Law enforcement operatives successfully intercepted an illegal recruitment operation in Isabela, shielding several aspiring overseas Filipino workers from fraudulent employment schemes.

The joint operation, conducted by the CIDG Isabela Provincial Field Unit alongside representatives from the Department of Migrant Workers Region 2, took place in Barangay Rizal, Santiago City. Authorities apprehended two local individuals, a man known as alias "Mark" and a woman known as alias "Ana," both in their mid-30s and Filipino citizens.

The duo was caught in the act of collecting documents and processing fees from job seekers, promising high-paying opportunities in Ireland and the Netherlands as caregivers, agricultural workers, and health professionals without the necessary authority or license from the government.

This decisive action reflects the ongoing effort to strengthen public safety and uphold justice across the country under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. By continuously refining tactical ex*****on through Enhanced Managing Police Operations, a key pillar of the PNP Focused Agenda, police forces maintain a proactive stance in neutralizing illegal activities that exploit vulnerable citizens.

Chief PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasized the commitment of the police force to safeguard the welfare of everyday workers trying to build a better future for their families.

"Nakakalungkot na may mga nananamantala pa rin sa pagsisikap ng ating mga kababayan na makatulong sa pamilya nila. Hindi natin papayagan na manakaw ang pinaghirapan nilang pera nang dahil lang sa mga pekeng pangako. We are working hand-in-hand with the DMW and other partner agencies to make sure these fraudulent schemes are stopped right at their tracks, whether they operate on the ground or through online platforms," Police General Nartatez stated.

PNP ARRESTS NCR NO. 2 MOST WANTED PERSON FOR 10 COUNTS OF QUALIFIED R**E

Police authorities arrested a No. 2 Most Wanted Person in the National Capital Region during an early morning operation in Barangay Malanday, Marikina City, on August 30, 2026.

The wanted person, a Filipino of legal age, was arrested by personnel of Police Station 14 of the Manila Police District by virtue of a warrant of arrest for 10 counts of Qualified R**e, with no bail recommended.

The arrested individual is now under police custody and will undergo the appropriate legal proceedings.

The accomplishment reflects the Philippine National Police’s continuing efforts to locate and account for wanted persons through focused and lawful police operations. It is in line with the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), which promotes effective police action while ensuring that every operation respects due process and individual rights.

PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. stressed that the arrest demonstrates the importance of sustained police work in bringing wanted persons before the proper authorities.

“Hindi natatapos ang trabaho sa pag-iisyu ng warrant. We have to find the person, make the arrest properly, and turn them over to the justice system. That is how we make every police operation count,” PGen Nartatez said.
