𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐃𝐀 𝐒𝐊𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Under the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗢 𝗔. 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗥., 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗘, Regional Director of BJMP Region IX, represented by 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒, District Jail Warden, personnel of Imelda District Jail actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Program on June 4, 2026, at Lower Baluran Elementary School, Lower Baluran, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.

In support of the Department of Education’s nationwide school maintenance initiative, jail personnel rendered community service through the cleaning of the school's surrounding areas, particularly the rear portion of the campus, the excavation of a compost pit to strengthen the school's solid waste management and environmental sustainability program, and the hauling and filling of soil in the kitchen area to improve ground leveling and site conditions.

These collective efforts contributed to the enhancement of the school's physical environment, ensuring a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning space for students, teachers, and school personnel. The activity likewise demonstrated the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s commitment to community engagement, environmental stewardship, and its continuing support for programs that promote quality education and public service.

𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐊. 𝐇𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭-𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

Under the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗢 𝗔. 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗥., 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗘, Regional Director of BJMP Region IX, represented by 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒, District Jail Warden, personnel of Imelda District Jail successfully participated in the Gift-Giving Activity conducted by the Provincial Governor’s Office in celebration of the birthday of Hon. Ann K. Hofer, Governor of Zamboanga Sibugay Province, on June 3, 2026, at Imelda District Jail.

The activity was facilitated by five (5) representatives from the Provincial Governor’s Office who conveyed the Governor’s warm greetings and continued commitment to the welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). Through this meaningful initiative, a total of two hundred eighty (280) PDLs received snacks and hygiene kits as a gesture of kindness, compassion, and support.

The distribution of essential items significantly contributed to the well-being and morale of the PDL population while fostering a sense of care and inclusivity within the facility. This activity reflects the shared commitment of the Provincial Government of Zamboanga Sibugay and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology IX in promoting humane treatment, social responsibility, and rehabilitation-oriented programs for PDLs.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office IX, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐉𝐑, 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐄, joins the Muslim community in the observance of Eid al-Adha, a sacred celebration that reflects faith, sacrifice, obedience, and compassion.

May this blessed occasion strengthen unity, promote peace, and inspire everyone to continue serving with sincerity, humility, and gratitude.

Wishing our Muslim brothers and sisters a meaningful and blessed Eid al-Adha.

The BJMPRO-IX, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐉𝐑, 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐄, joins the observance of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, dedicated to raising awareness on climate change and its impact on the environment, society, and the economy.

This day serves as a reminder of the urgent need for collective action to protect our planet and mitigate the effects of climate change through sustainable and responsible practices.
