To ensure the safety of students and school personnel, Mayor Mai Okinlay has officially issued Executive Order No. 5, declaring the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels and work in schools across the Municipality of Impasug-ong from February 5 to 6, 2026.

With the municipality currently under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2, the Local Government Unit (LGU) is taking proactive measures to protect the community from the threat of rain-induced landslides and flooding caused by Tropical Storm "Basyang." Following the 2:00 AM PAGASA report, the LGU recognizes the immediate need to keep learners and educators away from potential hazards during the height of the storm.

In accordance with DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024, all schools are directed to shift to Modular Distance Learning and other Alternative Delivery Modes. This ensures that while face-to-face sessions are paused for safety, the education of our young Impasugonganons continues. We urge all parents and guardians to keep children indoors and monitor official channels for further updates.

Eduave, Local Assessment Operations Officer IV, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Mai Okinlay to discuss the upcoming General Revision of Tax Declarations. Mayor Okinlay reaffirmed the full support of the LGU to ensure its effective and timely implementation, reinforcing the shared commitment to transparent, fair, and updated property valuation for the benefit of the public.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Temporary Closure of Impasugong Communal Ranch

Please be informed that the Impasugong Communal Ranch will be temporarily closed on January 15, 2026 to allow for ranch maintenance and biosecurity updates.

During this period, all operations and access to the ranch will be suspended to ensure the safety of livestock, personnel, and visitors.

All tour operators with scheduled tours on this date are advised to immediately coordinate with the Municipal Tourism Office for proper guidance and rescheduling.

Regular operations will resume on January 16, 2026.

We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we undertake these necessary improvements to maintain a safe and healthy ranch environment.
