The National Bureau of Investigation-Cavite North District Office (NBI-CAVIDO North), under the supervision of NBI Director Judge Jaime B. Santiago (Ret.), rescued a female minor and arrested a Subject for sexual assault.
The case stemmed from the referral letter received by the CAVIDO North on March 30, 2025 from a non-governmental organization regarding three girls who were sexually assaulted by the Subject who happens to be the stepfather of the two girls and biological father of the youngest victim.
According to the two step daughters, 19 and 14 years old respectively, the incident started sometime in 2023 while they were staying in Subjectβs house in San Pablo City. Their mother was then working as an OFW in Kuwait. Subject sexually molested them by mashing their breasts, inserting his fingers inside the genitalia, and ra**ng them. The sexual molestation usually happens while they were sleeping in their bedroom. Subject would brandish a bladed weapon and would threaten that he would kill their mother and grandmother should they tell them of the incident. The 4-year-old victim, Subjectβs biological daughter, was not spared as Subject would insert his finger inside his daughterβs genitalia every time he would bath her.
The two step-daughters were able to free themselves from their sexually-perverted step-father and sought the assistance from the NBI since their 4-year-old half-sister is still enduring repeated sexual and physical assault from the subject. According to the two (2) step-daughters, Subject also uses prohibited drugs. Thus, NBI-CAVIDO North conducted a rescue operation on March 31, 2025 in San Pablo City, Laguna. Victim was rescued and Subject was arrested pursuant to Rule 113 Section 5a and 5b of the Rules on Criminal Procedure.
Cases for violation of R.A. No. 8353 (Anti-Rape Law), R.A. No. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), and R.A. No. 9208 as amended by R.A. 10364 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012) were filed against the Subject before the inquest prosecutor of San Pablo City, Laguna.
