BFP Cavite Conducts Preparatory Meeting for 1st Semester CY 2026 Physical Fitness Test

Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program

In a continued effort to strengthen community engagement and support safe and conducive learning environments, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Cavite, under the leadership of FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal, proudly participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program held at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS), Imus City, Cavite.

With this year’s theme, “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” the program underscored the vital role of collective action and shared responsibility in preparing schools for the opening of classes. Representing BFP Cavite, FCINSP HAYCEELINE M OBLIGAR, Provincial Chief, Gender and Development, conveyed the agency’s message of support and emphasized its steadfast commitment to community service, youth empowerment, and educational preparedness.

As part of the activity, BFP personnel actively participated in clean-up operations within the school premises and coordinated flushing activities to help maintain a clean, safe, and disaster-resilient learning environment for students, teachers, and school personnel.

BFP Cavite’s participation in Brigada Eskwela 2026 reflects its continuing commitment to fostering strong partnerships with the education sector and promoting fire safety awareness, disaster preparedness, public health, and community well-being beyond its emergency response mandate.

Through collaborative initiatives such as Brigada Eskwela, BFP Cavite remains dedicated to building safer communities and supporting programs that contribute to quality education and the holistic development of Filipino learners.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Cavite Provincial Office, under the leadership of Provincial Fire Marshal FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II DSC, spearheaded an Intelligence and Investigation Section (IIS) Updates Meeting.

The strategy session was conducted alongside FSINSP MELCHOR R MEDES, Provincial Chief of the IIS, Provincial IIS Staff, and all Municipal and City Station Chief Investigators. The meeting focused on strengthening operational capabilities, streamlining investigative procedures, and updating intelligence protocols to ensure a more efficient and rigorous approach to fire safety and arson investigation across the province.

Moving beyond fire suppression to active community care, the Bureau of Fire Protection Cavite, under the leadership of the Provincial Fire Marshal, FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II, DSC, successfully conducted "Operation Tuli 2026" at the Lumampong Balagbag Basketball Court, Brgy. Lumampong Balagbag, Indang, Cavite.

This public health initiative was made possible in partnership with Indang Masonic Lodge No. 115 Cosmos Lodge No. 8 and UERMMCI College of Medicine showcasing a shared commitment to grassroots community welfare.

BFP CAVITE PARTICIPATES IN THE PDRRMC COMMITTEE MEETING ON DISASTER PREVENTION AND MITIGATION

In line with its continuous commitment to proactive public safety and inter-agency collaboration, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Cavite headed by the Provincial Fie Marshal, FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II, DSC actively participated in the Committee Meeting on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. The collaborative session was organized and conducted by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) via Zoom Teleconference.

Representing the BFP Cavite Provincial Office was the Provincial Executive Senior Fire Officer (PESFO), SFO4 Kristine N Dandan.

The meeting focused on aligning provincial strategies, enhancing safety protocols, and strengthening coordination among council members to ensure a highly prepared and resilient Province of Cavite against potential emergencies and natural hazards.
