Education is a fundamental right that provides every individual with the opportunity to learn, develop, and create positive change in their lives. In support of this belief, the Imus City Jail Male Dormitory, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇 𝐌 𝐌𝐀𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐑𝐀, City Jail Warden, continues to actively support the 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐀𝐋𝐒) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

The program is conducted in the jail unit by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐂. 𝐕𝐢𝐳𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚, 𝐀𝐋𝐒 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫, who patiently guides our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in developing essential literacy skills, including reading and writing.

This initiative serves as a reminder that education has the power to transform lives. By providing our PDL with meaningful opportunities to study and learn, they are given the chance to rediscover their self-worth, rebuild their confidence, and embrace the possibility of a better future—one that is not defined by their past.

Through education, every new lesson becomes a step toward hope, growth, and positive change.
