Following the Kick-Off Ceremony of Brigada Eskwela 2026, personnel of Initao District Jail actively participated in school clean-up and maintenance activities at Initao Central School.

The team rendered voluntary service through clearing overgrown grass, sweeping school grounds, and collecting waste materials to help prepare the school for the incoming academic year.

Through teamwork, dedication, and community involvement, Initao District Jail remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where students can learn and thrive.

In support of Brigada Eskwela 2026, with the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan, Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” personnel of Initao District Jail, under the leadership of JCINSP GLEN ROBERT C MADARIETA, Acting Jail Warden, actively participated in the Kick-Off Ceremony held at Initao Central School.

The activity commenced with an Alay Lakad, where participating agencies and stakeholders conducted a solidarity walk around the Municipality of Initao, symbolizing their collective commitment to preparing schools for the opening of classes.

Through collective action and community participation, we continue to uphold the spirit of bayanihan in support of quality education and a brighter future for every learner.

The championship game of the Initao District Jail's 1st Ever Badminton Tournament brought excitement, laughter, and intense rallies to the court as IDJ personnel gave their best and played with true sportsmanship and teamwork.

After an action-packed showdown, the following pairs emerged victorious:

A total of 35 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) successfully graduated from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Tile Setting Program, marking another milestone in their journey toward skills development, productivity, and self-improvement.

This achievement reflects the continuous commitment of Initao District Jail in providing opportunities for rehabilitation and livelihood training that can help prepare PDL for a better future beyond the facility.

The Rural Health Unit (RHU)–Initao conducted a Free Dental Check-Up Activity at Initao District Jail to promote oral health and proper dental care among Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Under the leadership of JCINSP GLEN ROBERT C MADARIETA, Acting Jail Warden, Initao District Jail extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Nanette Acut Libot, Ms. Lydia A. Waga (Midwife II), and Ms. Vida Amor V. Dadole (Dental Aide) for their time, dedication, and valuable health services rendered during the activity.

The said activity was assisted by JO1 Prince Mon Parami, Jail Nurse, ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the dental check-up.

The Commission on Elections Initao conducted a Special Satellite Registration inside the Initao District Jail facility, providing qualified Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

A total of 27 PDL successfully registered during the activity, promoting inclusivity and strengthening awareness on the importance of civic participation and responsible citizenship.

The Initao District Jail under the leadership of JCINSP GLEN ROBERT C MADARIETA, Acting Jail Warden, conducted its traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, with JO1 Tristan Charlie U Cago as the Speaker of the Day.

In his message, he emphasized that our role in public service goes beyond custody and security—it is also about transformation and giving hope. Through programs like the Alternative Learning System (ALS), personnel help open opportunities for growth and rehabilitation among Persons Deprived of Liberty. He reminded everyone to continue serving with integrity, discipline, and compassion, contributing to meaningful and lasting change.

A reminder that true service is not only about maintaining order, but also about building lives and shaping better futures.
