‼️👏Macagocoanons headed by the BLGU with our active Punong Barangay, Hon. Mamerto Villacorte and the members of the Sangguniang Barangay, appointed personnel and 4Ps beneficiaries actively participated the Arbor Day today June 20, 2026.

Coming together to give Mother Nature a helping hand.Our participation to the Arbor Day which focuses on tree planting activity brings people together to take direct, positive action for the environment. By planting native tree and fruit trees saplings/seedlings we are actively restoring local ecosystems, enhancing biodiversity, and fighting climate change. This hands-on event connects participants with nature and each other, turning a shared passion for the planet into a lasting green legacy.

We jus don’t inherit the Earth, we plant its future💪🏻❤️🌳🌲

In line with the pre-disaster preparations the Barangay DRRMC of Barangay Macagoco headed by the ever alisto nga Punong Barangay Hon. Dondon Villacorte distributed relief packs to the residents.Meanwhile, earlier today, the committee convened and pre-emptive evacuation was announced and implemented. The BDRRMC has been monitoring the evacuees in different evacuation centers and private residences and also the latest updates of typhoon Tino.

DOST-PAGASA officially declares the end of the Habagat season, marking the termination of the rainy season over western Luzon and Visayas. The country is now transitioning to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) in the coming weeks.

Barangay Macagoco gladly joined the celebration of the World Water Day 2025, themed “Bayanihan sa Katubigan, Krisis sa Klima ay Labanan”…Water is very essential in life and a clean community too. A clean community is a healthy community thus makes
life better for everyone.
Climate crisis badly affects our dear planet. This is a call for everyone to start doing our share in caring for mother Earth.

Thanks for the very active men and women in the barangays for participating. A salute also to Hon. Dondon Villacorte for leading the activity.

🌱🥬🥑🍍🍌 Let’s do this!!
Barangay Macagoco is working anew on establishing a communal garden which aims to provide fresh and nutritious vegetables and fruits on our tables and to alleviate food shortage as well as malnourishment among children. Growing fruits and vegetables right in our backyard will ensure us of an organic and healthy food for our family. The activity also aims to provide planting materials to our constituents who wishes to have their own backyard garden in their respective homes.
This is a new site for the community garden since the present lot where the barangay garden is situated is not suitable anymore due to environmental factors.
Together let’s grow more plants: fruits and vegetables and trees too!!!
