📍 Ipil Federation of Senior Citizens Association (IFSCA) Regular Monthly Meeting
The Ipil Federation of Senior Citizens Association (IFSCA) successfully conducted its Regular Monthly Meeting today June 5, 2026 (Friday) at Casa Mea Hotel & Restaurant, Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, presided over by IFSCA President, Mr. Antonio B. Baculado.
The meeting was attended by the IFSCA Officers, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Ms. Judylen B. Espacio-Cepe,RSW, Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Head Mr. Constantino T. Camacho and staff, the 28 Barangay Senior Citizen Association (BSCA) Presidents, and other distinguished guests and visitors.
The Federation was honored by the presence of representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office IX – Social Pension Program, namely Ms. Nelie Linguis, SPISC Grievance Officer, and Mr. Michael Angelo Glenn Lanipa, SPISC Project Development Officer I. They provided valuable updates and discussed the current implementation of the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC) Program, addressing concerns and strengthening coordination among stakeholders.
Key agenda discussed during the meeting included:
✅ Updates on the implementation of the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC) Program
✅ Updates and preparations for the scheduled Cash Gift Distribution under R.A. 11982
✅ Plans and activities for the upcoming 77th Araw ng Ipil Celebration
✅ Submission of Monthly Accomplishment Reports of the Barangay Senior Citizen Association (BSCA) Presidents
✅ Other matters concerning the welfare and development of senior citizens in the Municipality of Ipil
Likewise, Ms. Judylen B. Espacio-Cepe,RSW, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, provided important updates regarding the implementation of the SPISC Program, the forthcoming R.A. 11982 (Expanded Centenarians Act) Cash Gift Distribution, and other significant programs and services aimed at promoting the welfare, protection, and well-being of senior citizens in the municipality.
The meeting served as an avenue for information sharing, coordination, and strengthening partnerships among senior citizen leaders, local government offices, and partner agencies in ensuring that programs and services effectively reach the elderly sector.
