𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 was filled with enthusiasm, movement, and meaningful learning experiences. The morning kicked off with an exhilarating 𝙕𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 led by the ever-energetic members of the 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡, setting an energetic and positive tone for the day. This was followed by a 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩 featuring participating institutions—𝙎𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝙅𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙘., 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙙 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙞 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙘., and 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡—each showcasing their school’s mission and vision in nurturing the youth with values, education, and holistic development. These exhibits served to inspire OSY participants to continue their formal education, showing them that opportunities still await. The day continued with a brief yet powerful learning session from the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, with 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖, the 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡, discussing the risks and reality of teenage pregnancy, and 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙢 delivering an informative talk on the dangers of STIs, HIV, and AIDS, along with relevant data at the national and local level. The Municipal Health Office also offered free consultations and contraceptives to promote health awareness and prevention.

In the afternoon, the energy soared with the much-anticipated 𝙊𝙎𝙔 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙚—a fun and engaging series of games and challenges that tested the youth participants' teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm. Laughter, cooperation, and excitement echoed through the venue as everyone took part in the activities, fostering friendship and unity.

To bring the two-day summit to a meaningful close, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙣 𝙀. 𝘾𝙚𝙥𝙚, 𝙍𝙎𝙒, led a heartfelt 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 where participants paused to look back on their experiences and were reminded of their life’s purpose—despite their struggles and present situations. With renewed hope, strengthened bonds, and a clear vision of what lies ahead, the OSY Summit 2025 concluded on a high note—𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙.

Finally, the most-anticipated 𝙊𝙪𝙩-𝙤𝙛-𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 (𝙊𝙎𝙔) 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 2025 has officially come to life!

Held on 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 10 at the Covered Court, Veterans Village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, this 2-day summit carries the empowering theme “𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝, 𝙍𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.” Organized by the 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 under the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 with the strong support of the 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡—composed of 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡, 𝙎𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝙅𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙘., 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, and 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙙 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙞 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 and the 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙎𝙒𝘿, the event marks a significant milestone in creating a nurturing space for OSYs to rediscover their dreams and be reminded of the opportunities that education can bring.

𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 was a true celebration of hope and purpose. It opened with the warm arrival of out-of-school and in-school youth from various communities, followed by an inspiring message from 𝙈𝙧. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙂𝙞𝙡 𝘾. 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙤, a proud 4Ps beneficiary who rose above life’s hardships through determination and education. Creativity and talent took center stage during the 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩, while the 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 brought color, culture, and camaraderie to life. Participants proudly wore culturally inspired outfits, with the best dressed award, and everyone shared in a joyful grand dinner. Another success story, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙈𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝘽. 𝙏𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨 also inspired the crowd with her powerful testimony of triumph despite adversity.

The evening culminated in a heartfelt bonfire gathering led by 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙖 𝘼. 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙋𝙚ñ𝙖 from the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, reminding every participant that no dream is unreachable and that hope will always light the way forward. Truly, Day 1 was a resounding success—filled with meaningful connections, unforgettable stories, and renewed motivation to pursue education and rebuild a brighter future. 💙

This gathering brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, partner educational institutions such as 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, as well as members of the 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. The meeting served as a vital platform for collaboration and inclusive dialogue among youth sector representatives and partner agencies.

The agenda focused on the planning and presentation of proposed activities for the upcoming 𝗢𝘂𝘁-𝗼𝗳-𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 (𝗢𝗦𝗬) 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱in partnership with the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. In addition, the meeting covered preparations for the upcoming 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗽𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡’𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙇𝙔𝘿𝙊𝙨) participated in the two-day 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 at Arrow Hive Beach Resort, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, from 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 24-25, 2024. Hosted by the League of LYDO, the workshop covered key discussions on By-laws and Ordinances, the roles and responsibilities of LYDO Officers, and strategic initiatives to enhance youth empowerment across the province.

The Ipil LYDO Officers extend their heartfelt gratitude to 𝙃𝙤𝙣. "𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮" 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡 𝘾. 𝙊𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤, Municipal Mayor of Ipil, for her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to youth development. Greening Our Community: PYAP's Environmental Initiative! 🌿🌱

On the morning of 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 12, 2024, a remarkable effort was made to create a greener, healthier environment in our community. The Municipal PYAP Officers, alongside the dedicated MSWDO Ipil Staff, Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, SK Federation Council, Municipal Fire Station, and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Office, united for a 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 around the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙮𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙢.

This inspiring event was brought to life through the unwavering support of the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙍𝙊), who provided 30 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 and guided the participants throughout the activity. On 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 11, 2024, the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙔𝘼𝙋 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 embarked on their 2-day PYAP endeavor at the 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧 (𝙊𝙎𝘾𝘼). With the theme: "𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙔𝘼𝙋'𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨", the first day kicked off with a brief orientation on the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) spearheded by the Designated Youth Development Officers, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙯𝙖, setting the stage for the journey ahead.

The 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 session, aimed at enhancing the leadership skills and strategic planning abilities of the PYAP Municipal Officers, was facilitated by the dedicated MSWD Staff and Designated Youth Development Officers. The participants were honored to have 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙇. 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣, 𝙍𝙎𝙒, as the resource speaker. The 4-hour training was packed with meaningful and informative lessons, enriched further by engaging activities and games with generous prizes.

The 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙇𝙔𝘿𝙊) 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙥𝙞𝙡, under the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙈𝙎𝙒𝘿), proudly hosted the 2-𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙊𝙪𝙩-𝙤𝙛-𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 2024 on June 29-30, 2024, at the Evacuation Center in Taway, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. With the theme "𝙉𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚," the summit gathered over 150 in-school and out-of-school youth from various barangays, arriving with great enthusiasm for the exciting activities planned.

On the first day, the summit commenced with the 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 (𝙋𝙔𝘼𝙋) 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨, followed by a 𝙎𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩, fostering creativity and leadership among the participants. The newly elected officers were inducted in a formal ceremony, setting a strong foundation for future youth initiatives. The evening featured a 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 session led by 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙣 𝙀. 𝘾𝙚𝙥𝙚, 𝙍𝙎𝙒, MSWD Officer, highlighting crucial insights and strategies for gender-sensitive development.

The second day was marked by enriching knowledge-sharing sessions from key partner agencies. The 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙧𝙜., 𝙄𝙣𝙘. addressed the critical issue of 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 (𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙀𝙈) 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨. This was followed by an informative session from the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, focusing on Digital Literacy, responsible technology use, and the role of the internet in combating human trafficking. An inspirational talk by 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙖 𝘿. 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙤, 𝙍𝙎𝙒, motivated and guided the participants. The day concluded with engaging team-building games and activities, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the youth.

The event's success was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the facilitators from the MSWD of Ipil, led by the Designated Youth Development Focals, and the invaluable support from the Municipal Officials, including the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧, 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡 "𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝘼𝙢𝙮" 𝘾. 𝙊𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤. We sincerely thank our participants, staff, and community leaders for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. Your contributions have made this summit a remarkable and inspiring event, and we are deeply thankful for your commitment to empowering our youth.
