Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Farmers' Festival and Technology Forum, kung saan mahigit sa 70 magsasaka ang nakinabang sa pamamagitan ng mga agricultural exhibits at technology demonstrations. Tampok sa mga ipinakitang teknolohiya ang improved silage production at ang pagpaparami ng de-kalidad na coffee planting materials, na nagbigay sa mga magsasaka ng praktikal na kaalaman at makabagong teknolohiyang maaari nilang gamitin upang mapalago ang kanilang produksiyon at mapabuti ang kanilang kabuhayan.

Mas naging makahulugan at kapana-panabik ang programa sa pagdalo ni Dr. Cecilia N. Gascon, Director ng DA - Bureau of Agricultural Research, bilang keynote speaker. Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng paglinang at pagpapalaganap ng mga makabagong teknolohiyang nakabatay sa pananaliksik upang makapaghatid ng positibong pagbabago sa buhay ng mga magsasaka. Kinilala rin niya ang mga magsasaka bilang pangunahing tagapagtaguyod ng food security at tunay na haligi ng suplay ng pagkain sa bansa.

The 4K Program successfully conducted an intensive training on ginger and turmeric production and powder processing for the Subanen community in Moliton, President Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte.

From technical lectures by Mr. Michael Molina and Ms. Genevieve Hassan to hands-on practical sessions led by Ms. Stephanie Costanilla, our local farmers are now fully equipped to boost their harvest and add value to their crops!

The 4K Program recently hosted a training session on Calamansi Production Management and Juice Processing for Subanen farmers in Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. Led by the 4K staff, the technical lectures were delivered by Michael Molina and Genevieve Hassan, covering everything from planting and pest control to harvesting, while Stephanie Costanilla guided the hands-on juice processing. The participants walked away with valuable agricultural and business skills to improve their livelihoods, and everyone was incredibly grateful for the chance to learn and bring these new techniques back to their community.
