CSWDO Iriga City – Level 3: “Improved Service Delivery”
The Service Delivery Capacity Assessment (SDCA), formerly known as the Service Capacity and Competency Assessment (SDCCA), is a triennial evaluation conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). It is designed to assess the capacity of Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) in delivering efficient, effective, and responsive social welfare services.
The assessment covers three key areas: Administration and Organization, Program Management, and Institutional Mechanisms. It is undertaken every three (3) years to determine the capacity and competency requirements of LSWDOs and their personnel, and to identify areas for improvement.
The results of the assessment serve as a basis for the provision of responsive Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA), ensuring that interventions are aligned with the specific needs of the Office.
Over the past three years, CSWDO Iriga City recorded a rating of 2.88, which has improved to 2.95 in the most recent assessment. This notable increase reflects the Office’s continuous efforts to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance program implementation, and uphold excellence in public service delivery.
