Magello Rainer Fenis is a new part-time faculty member who will be handling Introduction to Comparative Politics and Ancient to Medieval Political Thought this semester. He is currently a PhD student in International Politics at University of Pรฉcs in Hungary. Prior to this, he also earned his postgraduate diplomas in Indonesia and Bahrain. His interests include authoritarianism, social movements and postcolonial studies. He has writing contributions in The Jakarta Post, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Global South Forum, Asia News Network, among others. He has also conducted research fieldwork and engagements in Thailand, South Korea and Russia. He loves cats.

As he joins the AB Political Science faculty, may his experiences, perspectives, and passion for the discipline contribute to meaningful discussions and enriching learning experiences for our students.
