Please be advised that the previously scheduled NGCP power interruption on October 3, 2026 (Saturday) is CANCELLED.
the shutdown maintenance has been moved to the NEW SCHEDULE below:
📅 NEW DATE: October 4, 2026 (Sunday)
⏰ TIME: 06:30 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 AFFECTED AREAS: SORECO I Coverage Area
🛠️ SCOPE OF WORK:
• Preventive maintenance along the Daraga-Sorsogon 69 kV Line
• General maintenance, testing of high-voltage equipment, and defect correction at Sorsogon Switching Station
• Correction of defects at Irosin Capacitor Bank Substation
ℹ️ IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE SCHEDULE:
▶️Cannot Be Delayed Further: NGCP cannot move the maintenance work past this date or after the Kasanggayahan Festival. Critical defects along the line must be corrected immediately, and prolonging the maintenance risks causing forced or unplanned power outages.
▶️Cannot Be Moved to Weekdays: Moving the schedule to earlier weekday dates is not possible, in compliance with the Provincial Government of Sorsogon's standing policy to keep scheduled power interruptions on weekends so as not to disrupt government offices, businesses, and work productivity.
**All works may be finished ahead of time, and power may be restored earlier than scheduled. Treat all power lines as energized at all times for safety.
