August 28, 2026| The 19th Special Forces Company attended the Municipal Joint Security Command Center (MJSCC) Meeting for the upcoming BARMM Parliamentary Elections (BPE) 2026 held at Brgy. Atong-Atong, Lantawan, Basilan Province.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Juhaira S. Halain Election Officer of Lantawan; PMAJ Nursaibar L Mahadi, Chief of Police, Lantawan; and representatives from other concerned agencies. Discussions focused on security preparations, coordination, and election-related concerns.

The activity strengthened inter-agency coordination and operational readiness to ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly conduct of the BPE 2026 in Lantawan.

Men from the 19th Special Forces Company of 6th Special Forces "Lionheart" Battalion participated in the HAPIsabela Youth Summit 6.0: The Sixth Generation, held from August 1โ€“4, 2026, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

Anchored on the theme R.E.A.D.Y. โ€“ Resilience, Emergency Awareness, and Disaster-Ready Youth, the summit gathered young leaders and stakeholders to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote resilience, and inspire the next generation of responsible and community-oriented leaders.

The participation of 19SFC underscores its unwavering commitment to supporting youth development, community resilience, and nation-building through meaningful partnerships with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), under the leadership of Ms Levinia Jarejolne, RSW, LYD Officer IV and other partner agencies.

Together, we continue to empower the youth with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become proactive leaders and defenders of their communities.

To keep the community safe and support local education, men from the 19th Special Forces Company (19SFC) successfully set up a secure perimeter during the turnover ceremony of a new school facility on July 30, 2026, at Upper Garlayan Elementary School in Maluso, Basilan.

The event highlighted the teamwork of the military and civilian groups, led by BGEN ELIGLEN F VILLAFLOR PA (RET). In line with the theme "Batang Basilan Mahalaga," the project was built through the combined efforts of Kapatiran Masonic Lodge No. 228, the 1101st Infantry "Gagandilan" Brigade, the 6th Special Forces "Lionheart" Battalion, and the 32nd Infantry "Daredevil" Battalion. The main goal of this project is to give local children a safe, modern, and comfortable place to study. By deploying troops around the area, the 19SFC cleared any security worries, allowing teachers, students, and guests to enjoy the celebration safely.

The Philippine Army remains committed to working with civilian leaders and fellow military units. Our troops stand ready to protect vital community projects and maintain lasting peace across Basilan.

To support local government partners and ensure public safety, Men from the 19th Special Forces Company (19SFC) successfully deployed security and es**rt team for a 2-day Biodiversity Monitoring System (BMS) activity from July 28 to 29, 2026, within the Basilan Natural Biotic Area (BaNBA).

The field operation in Kapatagan Grande, Isabela City, Basilan, was led by Cesar F. Delos Reyes, Sr., Officer-In-Charge of ENRFO Isabela City, alongside the Protected Area Management Office (PAMO), with Jason Aniรฑon serving as the team leader during the BMS activity. The mission focused on checking native wildlife and plant species, assessing animal habitats, and strengthening environmental protection. Through strategic troop presence and strict safety measures, 19SFC troops secured the entire area, allowing the research team to complete their fieldwork safely and without any security worries.

The 19SFC remains highly committed to partnering with government agencies and local communities. We stand ready to provide security, defend our natural heritage, and maintain peace and safety across Basilan

To ensure religious freedom and foster lasting peace, the 19th Special Forces Company provided comprehensive security assistance during the 2-day Umumi Ijtima (General Gathering of Muslims) from July 27 to 28, 2026.

Held at Markadz Omar Al Faruq in Brgy. San Rafael, Isabela City, Basilan, the massive spiritual event drew thousands of religious devotees, Islamic scholars, and local leaders from various municipalities.

Working in tight coordination with local law enforcement and community stakeholders, the men from 19SFC secured perimeters and managed strategic checkpoints for participants. The vigilant and reassuring presence of the 19SFC troops ensured a completely peaceful, orderly, and successful assembly.

The essential field operation in Masula, Isabela City, Basilan, was led by Cesar F. Delos Reyes, Sr., Officer-In-Charge of ENRFO Isabela City, alongside the Protected Area Management Office (PAMO). The joint initiative focused on documenting native wildlife, plant species, assessing critical wildlife habitats, and reinforcing environmental protection strategies. The presence of 19SFC troops ensured a secure and unhindered environment for the research team navigating the terrain.
