Basilan State College Honored during the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session for its Victory in the Battle of the Nightingales 2025
Today, August 27, 2025, the participants of the recently concluded Battle of the Nightingales were invited by Board Member of District 1, Hon. Nasser A. Salain, to attend the said session.
The participants of the said competition were formally recognized for their outstanding achievement, securing Second Place among 18 prestigious universities and colleges across the region. Their success brought pride and honor not only to Basilan State College but also to the entire province.
During the ceremony, the students were awarded incentives through the initiative of the provincial government, reflecting the leadershipโs unwavering support for education and excellence. Hon. Nasser A. Salain, including Vice Governor Hon. Jim Salliman, along with other officials of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, commended the participants for their dedication, discipline, and passion, which served as an inspiration to the youth of Basilan.
