On May 28, 2026, the GSIS Zamboanga Branch Office conducted its 2nd round Teams Webinar Orientation for Agency Authorized Officers (AAOs) from GSIS Zamboanga BO and Basilan Extension Office.

The webinar highlighted important GSIS programs and services through presentations by:

✨ Imelda Angeles (SOIII - MAU) – GSIS Appointment Buddy

✨ Criz Elaine Paytone (Staff Assistant, LESU) – Ginhawa Solar Energy Loan (GSEL) & Ginhawa Bike and E-Mobility Loan (GBEL); and

✨ Lesette Alfaras (Division Chief, BCRD) – Balik Ginhawa (Loan Moratorium through Refund)

Through activities like this, GSIS continues to strengthen stakeholder engagement by providing timely, relevant, and accessible information.

GSIS recorded a net income of ₱43.6 billion in the first quarter, a 170% increase year‑on‑year. GSIS released ₱49.5 billion in claims and benefits during the quarter to support members and pensioners. The average monthly old‑age pension rose to ₱18,874.58, giving retirees more than ₱1,000 extra per month. Total assets grew to nearly ₱2 trillion, reinforcing the fund’s long‑term stability.
