LAKE SEBU, South Cotabato โ€” Love and commitment took center stage as 42 couples from Barangay Ned formalized their union in a mass wedding ceremony last April 18, 2026, a significant step toward securing a better future for their children.

According to Benilda Cortez of South Cotabato Cluster Office, during the registration of the new set of beneficiaries, most of the families do not have marriage contract that made them tap local government office to address the lack of civil/marriage documents among quaified families of 4Ps program.

โ€œThis activity is more than just a ceremonyโ€”it is an investment in the stability and dignity of families,โ€ Cortez added.

To the participating couples like Mr. & Mrs. Simon and Lukela Unda, this mass wedding allows them to legitimize their relationships, ensuring that their families are properly documented and recognized.

โ€œDugay nami ga uban pero wala gyud mi nakasal kay wala mi budget,โ€ Unda said.

(Weโ€™ve been living together for years but we not yet legally married due to financal constraints).

The mass wedding gave them the long-awaited opportunity to legalize their relationship.

For many of the newlyweds, the ceremony was both a fulfillment of a long-held dream and a practical step toward improving their childrenโ€™s future. With legal documentation in place, they can now more easily comply with 4Ps requirements and access government assistance designed to uplift their quality of life.

Isang taos-pusong pagbati ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ sa 4P's Municipal Operations Office Lake Sebu sa isa na namang makabuluhan at matagumpay na milestone!

Ngayong araw, Abril 17, 2026, sa Tourism Lodge and Restaurants, Prk. Pag-asa, Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato ay naisakatuparan ang Stakeholders Consultative Forum na tunay na nagpakita ng lakas ng pagkakaisa at sama-samang pananagutan sa pagpapatibay ng implementasyon ng programa ng 4P's. ๐Ÿ’ช

Layunin ng gawaing ito na palalimin ang ugnayan at pagtutulungan ng mga stakeholder, lalo na sa pagtugon sa mga mahahalagang isyu gaya ng cash card pawning, upang mapanatili ang integridad ng programa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga benepisyaryo.

Isa sa mga mahahalagang napagkasunduan ay ang muling pag-activate ng Barangay Action Team (BAT) upang masiguro ang tuloy-tuloy na koordinasyon, pagbibigay ng updates, at pagsunod sa mga polisiya at alituntunin ng programa sa antas ng barangay.

๐ŸŒŸ Matatag na Pamumuno, Matagumpay na Serbisyo! ๐ŸŒŸ

Isang makabuluhang araw ng paglilingkod ang naisakatuparan sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng DSWD 4Ps Set 14 Registration para sa Cluster 2 ng 4P's Municipal Operations Office Lake Sebu, sa pangunguna mismo ng Provincial Link para sa 4Ps South Cotabato na si Benilda B. Cortes, RSW, MSSW kasama ang iba pang staff ng South Cotabato . Sa kanyang personal na presensya at paggabay, naging maayos, organisado, at epektibo ang buong proseso ng pagpaparehistro para sa mahigit isang daang mga potensyal na benepisyaryo na na rehistro ngayong araw.

Ang kanyang pamumuno ay nagsilbing inspirasyon sa buong team upang mas lalo pang pagbutihin ang pagbibigay-serbisyo sa komunidad, na may layuning maabot ang mga pamilyang higit na nangangailangan.
