Please be informed that the venue for the Theoretical Driving Seminar on December 22–23, 2025 has been changed to:
Ampucao National High School.
8 am to 4 pm

Furthermore, the BLGU has decided to accommodate everyone who intends to attend the seminar. However, please expect limited food for all attendees. Therefore, all participants are advised to bring their own water and snacks.

Ampucao BDRRMC Urges Community to Heed Typhoon Uwan Advisories

The Ampucao Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) reminds residents in high-risk areas to closely follow all public advisories as Super Typhoon Uwan approaches.

Community volunteers conducted foot patrols to warn residents of the possible threats the typhoon will bring.

Business owners are also urged to comply with the current liquor ban and other safety protocols.

Mayor Orders Suspension of Small-Scale Mining in Itogon ahead of pre-UWAN

November 6, 2025 - In anticipation of Tropical Storm FUNG-WONG (local name “UWAN”), Mayor Bernard S. Waclin suspends all underground small-scale mining operations, including quarrying and gold panning along rivers.

As of 11:00 AM, November 6, 2025, PAGASA reports that Tropical Storm FUNG-WONG has intensified with winds up to 75 km/h, gusts of 90 km/h, and gale-force winds reaching 700 km from its center.

This precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety of miners and residents, as pre-UWAN is forecasted to intensify into a super typhoon and may affect Northern Luzon.
