This Sub-Station received awards and recognition, presided over by RADM AGAPITO B BIBAT PCG, Commander, Coast Guard District Central Visayas (C, CGDCV), and represented by PO3 Jonas A Landicho PCG, Deputy Commander, CGSS Jagna, together with SN1 John Bongcaras PCG of the Special Operations Unit–Eastern Bohol (SOU-EB), in recognition of their outstanding performance and valuable contributions to Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The awarding ceremony was held at the Headquarters, Coast Guard District Central Visayas, Pier 3 Arellano Boulevard, Brgy. Tinago, Cebu City.

Please be informed that the scheduled voyage of MV Lite Ferry 11 has been CANCELLED due to adverse weather conditions brought about by Tropical Cyclone Inday.

The Philippine Coast Guard (CGSS Jagna) strongly advises all passengers, vessel operators, and the maritime public to prioritize safety and closely monitor the latest weather advisories and official announcements.

Affected passengers are encouraged to coordinate with the Lite Ferries Ticketing Office for rebooking, refund, or other travel arrangements.

This Sub-Station actively implements coastal clean-up initiatives as part of its broader mandate on marine environmental protection. These initiatives are not standalone activities but are integrated with law enforcement, environmental advocacy, and community engagement to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding the marine environment.

The activity was a collaborative effort between Coast Guard Sub-Station Jagna (CGSS Jagna) and the Barangay Poblacion Officials and Council of Jagna, in coordination with the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Tanods. The joint participation of these stakeholders highlights the strong commitment of the community and partner agencies in promoting environmental sustainability and maintaining coastal cleanliness.
