🥗🌱 SUCCESSFUL NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION 2026 🌱🥗

Theme: Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat”
Sub-theme: "“Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”

Barangay Bongol, Janiuay, Iloilo successfully celebrated the Nutrition Month 2026, a meaningful occasion that promotes awareness of the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, and environmental care. 💚🌱

One of the highlights of the celebration was the search for the BEST NUTRITION MONTH COSTUME!

The Day Care children proudly showcased their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm through colorful and unique costumes inspired by nutritious foods and the importance of healthy living. It was a fun, exciting, and meaningful activity that made the celebration even more memorable! 👏🥰

Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to our Sangguniang Bayan Members, Hon. Dok Gracia Dureza Loffe and Hon. Glofil Joy Arnao Nobleza-Capadosa, for their presence, support, and active participation in making this celebration a success.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Nurse Besonia Alcudia, Dra. Kelly Colacion, and the RHU team for generously sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise in promoting health and proper nutrition in our community.

To all the parents, children, teachers, BNS/BHWs, barangay officials, volunteers, and everyone who participated and contributed, thank you so much for your support and active involvement. Your presence truly made this celebration more meaningful and successful. ❤️

Taking Immediate Action for the Welfare of Our Community

The Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Bongol has formally submitted a request to the Office of the Municipal Mayor dated July 13, 2026, together with an Incident Report, seeking immediate assistance for the possible rehabilitation of a road section that has become extremely muddy and nearly impassable due to continuous heavy rainfall.

In response to the concerns and complaints raised by our residents, the Sangguniang Barangay did not ignore these issues. We immediately conducted an on-site assessment, prepared the necessary incident report, and formally requested assistance from the Municipal Government to address the problem as soon as possible.

The current condition of the road poses risks to motorists, commuters, students, and emergency vehicles. We sincerely hope for the immediate attention and support of the Office of the Municipal Mayor for the rehabilitation of this affected road.

Rest assured that the Barangay Government remains committed to listening to the concerns of our constituents and taking prompt action for the safety and welfare of the community.
