The Janiuay Rural Health Unit (RHU) joins the municipality in celebrating 128th Philippine Independence Day by directing its medical and health personnel to participate in the civic flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies at the New Municipal Hall monuments, while maintaining essential community health services. In many settings across the Western Pacific Region, people still face barriers to regular blood pressure checks, timely diagnosis, affordable medicines and long-term follow-up care.

Hypertension can be controlled – but care must reach people earlier, closer to where they live, and more consistently.

Ang HIV ay maaaring maipasa mula ina patungo sa sanggol sa panahon ng pagbubuntis, panganganak, o pagpapasuso.

Pero sa pamamagitan ng maagang testing, tamang gamutan, at regular na konsultasyon, maaaring mabawasan ang panganib na maipasa ang HIV kay baby. 👩‍⚕️👶

Mahalagang malaman ang iyong HIV status para sa mas ligtas na pagbubuntis at mas malusog na kinabukasan para kay mommy at baby.

Magpatingin sa pinakamalapit na health center o HIV care facility para sa libreng HIV counseling, testing at treatment services. 💖

According to PAGASA’s Seasonal Climate Outlook, near to above-normal rainfall is expected in many regions, including ILOILO PROVINCE. This increases the risk of flooding, stagnant water, and mosquito breeding — raising the threat of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.

2️⃣ Seek Early Consultation for fever, body pain, nausea, or rashes

Strengthen Health Response:
✔️ Activate Dengue Fast Lanes in health facilities
✔️ Implement the 1-3-7 Strategy in hotspot areas
✔️ Preposition medicines, diagnostic kits, and vector control supplies
✔️ Mobilize Barangay Dengue Task Force

Every clean container, every covered drum, every destroyed breeding site is a victory against dengue. Prevention is not seasonal, it must be a daily habit.
