In line with our commitment to maintain a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for all learners, Jimenez National Comprehensive High School (JNCHS) shall officially implement the โWhatโs in Your Bag?โ Bag Search Initiative for School Year 2026โ2027, effective tomorrow, June 23, 2026 for both JNCHS Junior and Senior High School.
This initiative is a preventive and proactive safety measure aimed at ensuring that no prohibited, harmful, dangerous, or unnecessary items are brought into the school premises. It is founded on the principle that every learner deserves a school environment where safety, discipline, and learning are protected and prioritized.
๐ Students are hereby informed that teachers, subject teachers, advisers, school administrators, and authorized school personnel have the authority to conduct bag inspections, provided that all procedures strictly adhere to approved school guidelines and the DepEd Child Protection Policy.

Bag inspections may be conducted randomly or whenever circumstances require.

The student shall personally open and present the contents of his/her bag for inspection.
โ
Teachers and school personnel shall not personally rummage through, handle, or search the contents of a studentโs bag.
โ
All inspections shall be conducted respectfully, professionally, and without discrimination.
โ
Student dignity, privacy, and rights shall be upheld at all times.
โ
The inspection process shall focus on identifying prohibited items, deadly weapons, harmful materials, and other objects that may compromise school safety and discipline.
โ
Any prohibited item discovered shall be dealt with in accordance with existing school policies and applicable DepEd regulations.
โ
All learners are expected to cooperate fully during the conduct of inspections.
๐ข All students are directed to bring only school-related materials and items necessary for learning. Learners are expected to check their belongings before coming to school and ensure that they are not carrying prohibited, harmful, or unnecessary items. Parents and guardians are likewise encouraged to regularly monitor their childrenโs belongings and support the schoolโs efforts in promoting campus safety.
This initiative is not intended to instill fear, but to foster responsibility, vigilance, and shared accountability among all members of the school community. Safety is everyoneโs responsibility, and prevention remains our strongest protection.
