Sinimulan ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pangunguna ni Mayor Montano ang linggo sa pamamagitan ng libreng school supplies para sa mga estudyante sa east at west district ng bayan.

Ayon sa munisipyo, ang pondong ginamit para sa programang ito ay nagmula sa kontribusyon ng mga mamamayan at taxpayers. Layunin nitong makatulong sa gastusin ng mga magulang habang naghahanda para sa pagbubukas ng klase.

270 Pupils/Students of Infant Jesus De Providencia Learning and Development Center,Inc. and 450 Learners of La Salette of Jones,Inc. will also start receiving their FREE School Supplies from LGU Jones this week.

The schools supplies were handed over to the school personnel this afternoon by the team led by Hon. Mike Cesar Cabungcal Montano .

The turnover of FREE School Supplies to Day Care Workers for distribution to 860 Day Care Pupils was held on May 26, 2026 at the LGU Day Care and Feeding Center.

Per announcement of LGU Jones personnel the ECCD Checklists will be distributed this coming week to compelete the requested school supplies for our pupils.

The FREE School Supplies from LGU Jones for 8,650 (Male: 4,326; Female: 4,324) learners in Public Kinder, Elementary and Secondary Schools were handed over to the school heads of Jones West and East District this morning to give them ample time to distribute to learners.

The turnover was attended by the LGU Local Elective Officials led by Mayor Nhel C. Montano,CPA who shared his dream of providing the complete set of school supplies per learner starting next year to significantly help the parents reduce their expenses during opening of classess.
