This is Rasiya. She traveled to Koronadal City recently to take the Licensure Exam for Teachers at a testing center. She arrived on time but when she presented her Notice of Admission (NOA), it was discovered that it was her last yearโs NOA.
(It probably means that she took the test last year but did not pass.)
So Rasiya rushed outside to find a shop where she could print her current NOA. When she returned and presented her correct NOA four minutes later, the proctor would no longer allow her because she was late.
This incident sparked an online debate among netizens. One side says that โrules are rulesโ. The other side says that consideration should have been given. What side are you on?
For me, this scenario should have merited consideration. She clearly arrived on time. The proctor already met her. It was right for the proctor not to let her in with an invalid NOA but when she was able to show the correct NOA four minutes later, she should have been allowed to take the test. Those four minutes would be her penalty because she would pass her answer sheet along with the others when the time is up.
