DILG LEYTE CLUSTER 2 STRENGTHENS CAMARADERIE IN WELLNESS AND TEAM-BUILDING ACTIVITY

In a proactive effort to promote a healthy workplace and foster stronger ties among field personnel, the DILG Leyte Cluster 2 successfully conducted its Wellness and Team-Building Activity on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Casa Marcos Resort in Pastrana, Leyte.

The activity was spearheaded by Cluster Head Estela I. Creer and attended by MLGOO Alan A. Bugho of DILG julita, alongside other DILG field officers within the second district. The gathering served as a vital avenue for field officers to unwind, recharge, and focus on physical and mental well-being, allowing them to prioritize self-care and cultivate a healthy work-life balance.

Through various engaging group sessions, the team building activity highlighted the importance of synergy and mutual support in local governance operations. By investing in the health and morale of its workforce, DILG Leyte Cluster 2 continues to champion an efficient, resilient, and highly motivated team dedicated to serving the public with excellence.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The members of the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) of LGU Julita, together with DILG Julita, conducted a project site inspection on May 25, 2026 for the ongoing Cemetery Improvement Project of the municipality.

The inspection aimed to monitor the status and progress of the project, ensure compliance with project specifications, and uphold transparency and accountability in the implementation of local government infrastructure initiatives.

The participation of DILG Julita and the LPMC highlights the continuing commitment of the local government and partner agencies in ensuring that development projects are properly implemented for the benefit of the community.

Last May 23, 2026, several barangays of the Municipality of Julita successfully conducted the Kalinisan activity through the collective efforts of barangay officials, volunteers, community members, and partner agencies.

The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and community participation in maintaining a safer, healthier, and greener municipality for everyone. Participants actively joined the clean-up drive, demonstrating unity and bayanihan in protecting our environment.

Strengthening grassroots justice and promoting peaceful communities!

The Liga ng mga Barangay together with the LGU Julita, in coordination with DILG Julita, successfully conducted the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) Skills Enhancement Training on May 20–21, 2026 at the Julita Municipal Gymnasium.

The two-day activity gathered barangay officials and Lupon members from the different barangays of Julita to further enhance their knowledge and skills in amicable settlement, mediation, conciliation, and effective implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay system.

Through this training, participants were equipped with updated strategies and practical approaches in resolving community disputes, strengthening barangay justice mechanisms, and fostering harmony and unity within their respective communities.

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the local government and partner agencies in empowering barangay officials as frontliners of peace, order, and justice at the grassroots level.
