A colorful celebration that honors the history, culture, and unwavering faith of the people of Julita. Held in honor of the town's patron saint, Señor San Roque, the Hulatan Festival draws inspiration from the town's rich history as Hinulatan, meaning "the waiting place." It commemorates the time when native guides bid farewell to Spanish friars on their journey to Dulag and when the area served as a resting haven for traders traveling on foot or horseback.

A lasting symbol of Julita's identity, the Hulatan Festival reflects the town's rich history, warm hospitality, and enduring faith.
