𝗞𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗥𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀
The Kundo E. Pahm Learning Resource Center (KEPLRC) recently received a significant donation of books from various partners and advocates of education, aimed at strengthening literacy and expanding learning resources for students and the local community.

A total of 125 book titles were donated by three generous contributors. Dr. Naomi G. Tangonan provided 14 titles, while the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) donated 15 titles that highlight the Filipino language, culture, and literature. The ReadWorld Foundation contributed the largest portion with 96 titles.

The donated books will be added to the institution’s learning resources and are expected to benefit students by promoting reading and supporting academic development.

The USM Book Fair and Exhibit 2026 officially opened on March 2 at the Kundo E. Pahm Learning Resource Center, University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, Cotabato.

The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by university officials and representatives from participating publishing companies. The Book Fair brings together administrators, faculty, staff, students, and partner exhibitors.

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Kundo E. Pahm Learning Resource Center successfully conducted Kapehan sa Aklatan, and marking the official launch of its newly subscribed electronic resources and Intelligent Library System on February 9, 2026.

One of the highlights was Zendy, a digital library platform that gives users affordable and seamless access to a wide range of academic journals, eBooks, and scholarly resources. With Zendy, students, faculty, and researchers can explore reliable knowledge anytime and anywhere.

Also introduced was PANTAS, a next-generation Intelligent Library System designed to simplify everyday library processes. By streamlining cataloging and circulation, integrating print and digital collections, and providing data-driven insights, PANTAS helps create a more responsive and user-friendly library experience that supports teaching, learning, and research.

The launch was made even more special through the support of USM officials, faculty, and students, whose shared dedication to the university’s mission helped make the event a true success.
