Some lessons come from lectures.
Some come from training.
And some come from the familiar words we hear again and again from the people who guide us.

"Kamo na bahala sa grupo."
"Kaya nyo nana ya!."
"Amo ni himuon nyo."
"Sagad naman kamo!."
Simple words, but behind them is trust.
You give us responsibility because you believe we can handle it. You let us take the lead, make decisions, learn from our mistakes, and grow as responders and as people.
Sometimes, your words challenge us.
Sometimes, they make us laugh.
But somehow, they always remind us:
We are capable of more than we think.

"Ready na kamo? May training kamo bala?"
"Print lang diri."
"Kuha lang diri bondpaper. Ano, long or short?"
"Send ko lang ang mga need nyo i-prepare."
"Ano kulang nyo nga gamit?"
"Sure kuha lng diri."
The questions may sound simple, but they say a lot.
Because behind every training, document, activity, and preparation, there is someone asking what COMRADES needs before we even have the chance to ask.
You help turn plans into something we can actually carry out.
To Sir Alejandro and Maโam Liz, thank you for being part of the people behind COMRADES, not only by guiding us, but by trusting us, supporting us, and helping us become ready to serve.
From your COMRADES family,
