The POPS Planning Workshop was successfully conducted on February 5–6, 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Building, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

The activity was led by Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, with the support of Vice Mayor Leslie P. Caberte, MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah and Hon. Ronnie Daniel, and was enriched by the valuable insights shared by the Resource Speakers, LGOO VI Juanito B. Agullana and LGOO VI Jennevieve Marie P. Ferry.

The workshop aimed to guide the participants in the formulation of the 2026–2028 Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan, which serves as the municipality’s strategic framework for maintaining peace, strengthening public safety, and ensuring coordinated actions among concerned stakeholders.

‎The Local Government Unit of Kalamansig conducted its last quarter MPOC/MADAC Joint Meeting on December 03, 2025 at the Municipal Multi-Purpose Building.

‎The joint meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) was presided over by Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, supported by Vice Mayor Leslie P. Caberte, MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah, and SB Ronnie T. Daniel.

‎The meeting provided updates on the current peace and order situation, ongoing initiatives, and relevant operational concerns of the following agencies: KMPS, AFP, BFP, and PCG.
‎
‎The MPOC-MADAC meeting is held quarterly to monitor and address the peace and order situation and concerns in the municipality. It also serves as a platform to recognize key contributors and stakeholders involved in peace and order initiatives, supporting the safety and security of the community.

‎The Selection of Civil Society Organization (CSO) Representatives for the Local Special Bodies (LSB) and the Election of the People's Council were successfully conducted on October 30, 2025, at the Multipurpose Building. The activity was facilitated by CSO Desk Officer Maribeth O. Rodriguez and DILG Field Officer MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah, with the support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kalamansig, represented by SB Member Fe M. Caang.
‎
‎The activity gathered various Civil Society Organizations from across the municipality. The participants demonstrated unity and active engagement throughout the selection and election process.
‎
‎The newly selected CSO representatives will play a vital role in the Local Special Bodies, as the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the LGU and the CSOs in promoting a sustainable, transparent, economically driven, and responsive local governance.

‎Special thanks are also extended to the Municipal Mayor of Kalamansig, Hon. Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, Vice Mayor Leslie P. Caberte, and all the Sangguniang Bayan Members for their unwavering support and leadership in promoting stronger collaboration with the CSOs.

‎The Municipal Government of Kalamansig, under the leadership of Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, facilitated by MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah and the MPDO, with the support of Vice Mayor Leslie Caberte and SB Tata Daniel, successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) on September 30, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Building, Municipal Compound.

‎The meeting was attended by key officials and representatives from various agencies, including the KMPS, 2nd SKPMFC, AFP, BFP, PCG, Barangay Captains, and Department Heads of the Municipality of Kalamansig.
‎
‎The meeting convened to focus on updates and strategic planning essential for maintaining peace and order within the municipality, mitigating drug-related issues, and strengthening law enforcement. Comprehensive reports were presented and thoroughly discussed in support of the continuing goals of the Local Government of Kalamansig.

‎The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kalamansig conducted a two-day Executive Briefing on the State of Local Governance. It was held on August 4-5, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Building, Municipal Compound.

‎The briefing was led by the Municipal Mayor, Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, alongside Outcome Manager Augustus T. Tabugo, whose expertise guided the discussions. They were supported by MLGOO VI Ali I. Abdullah and MPDC Analyn Villanueva. Representatives from various sectors of the Local Government also participated.

‎TWO-DAY WORKSHOP ON THE STATE OF LOCAL GOVERNANCE SUMMARY

‎A two-day Sectoral Planning Workshop for preparing the Draft State of the Local Governance Summary (SLGS) of Kalamansig was held on July 22–23, 2025, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall in Municipal Hall.
‎
‎The workshop was chaired by the Kalamansig Municipal Mayor Hon. Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, supported by MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah, MPDC Analyn Villanueva, Head of Offices, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members.
‎
‎The workshop is marked as a meaningful event to address vital local issues from the different sectors of the local government, such as Social Governance, Economic Governance, Environmental Governance, Peace and Order Governance, and Financial Administration. Various participants from these sectors shared insights and together worked toward sustainable solutions to build a better Kalamansig.
