𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦

The Local Government Unit of Kalamansig, under the leadership of Hon. Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, Municipal Mayor, and Mr. Roshelo A. Caluyo, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, successfully conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) for Service Providers.

The training aimed to enhance the participants’ understanding of gender concepts, promote gender equality, and strengthen the delivery of gender-responsive services within the municipality.

The session was facilitated by Associate Professor III Khristine Joy B. Garcia-Arellano, RPSY, CSAP, CSCLP, from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), who served as the Resource Speaker, with Ms. Maria Angelika T. Balungay, MSPsych, RPm, also from USM, as the Assistant Learning Facilitator.

The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills in providing effective and empathetic counseling services, particularly in handling clients with psychosocial concerns.
