Calizo-Quimpo and now with the continued support of incumbent Vice Governor and Regular Presiding Officer, Atty Boy Quimpo, for the unwavering support to the activities of the association, Villanueva stressed in her welcome message.

"To our dear information officers from our local government units, our provincial government and from our national government agencies, thank you for sticking with the APIOA through the years.

We are looking forward that our group will be more active in the coming years with the lossening up of restrictions due to covid-19, so we can do our thing better. And that is providing accurate, timely, and real information to our respective audience. We need to do this. This is our prime role as information officers in this age of modern communication ways. We have to share our good news coming from our respective offices and agencies because we are the most legitimate persons to do this.", Villanueva added.

Past President, Ms. Richie D. Oloroso and now Vice President elect thanked APIOA members for the trust and confidence given to her to lead the association for almost 4 years.

β€œI’d like also to take this opportunity to thank the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan headed by Provincial Vice Governor Atty. Boy Quimpo for always supporting information work as he always allows us, the information unit group of SP, to be trained by sending us to seminars and trainings related to information work for us to be informed and be abreast of the recent developments when it comes to information work” she said.
