IN PHOTOS | The Special Meeting of the Aklan Peer Educators (APE) was successfully conducted last May 15, 2026 at the Aklan Training Center through the active participation of the Municipal Federations of Peer Educators across the province.

The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Zaldy II I. Lencioco (outgoing APE President) together with Paul Adrian M. Pelayo and Raffy T. Relator of AKPPGO

Key agenda discussed during the activity included the submission of Quarterly Adolescent Health and Development (AHD) Reports, updates and preparation for the upcoming Peer Educators Summit, Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) registration, and the Election of Officers for CY 2026.

The activity served as an avenue to strengthen collaboration, leadership, and commitment among peer educators in continuously promoting adolescent health, youth empowerment, and meaningful participation in the Province of Aklan.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | A new batch of Kabataang Malaynon (Malay Peer Educators) is ready to lead and inspire in the recently concluded Peer Educators Training on Healthy Young Ones (HYO) and U4U which gathered a total - all equipped to become advocates of adolescent health and development.

Held on April 19–22, 2026 at Altabriza Resort, Boracay, the training was successfully facilitated by the Aklan Provincial Population and Development Office (AKPPGO) through Mr. Raffy T. Relator, AHD Assistant Coordinator, together with members of Aklan Peer Educators namely Dave Ilarde, Gian Angelo Alonsagay, and Charles Ian Crispino.

This initiative was made possible through the support of the Malay Municipal Population and Gender Office (MPGO) in collaboration with the Municipal Health Office (MHO).

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Carlo Yabut (MPGO), Dr. Athena Magdamit (MHO), Arbie Aspiras (AHD Coordinator), MHO Malay personnel, CPD VI, LYDO, Kabataang Malaynon, SK officials, Barangay officials, and LGU Malay for your unwavering support in empowering the youth.
