The Aklan Provincial Tourism Office extends its warmest congratulations to the newly installed Officers and Board of Trustees of Boracay Foundation, Incorporated for the term 2026-2028.

The Investiture and Installation Ceremony of the Boracay Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees and Officers for CY 2026–2028 was held on July 17, 2026, at Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. The evening celebrated service, unity, and a shared commitment to shaping a more sustainable and vibrant future for Boracay.

The Provincial Government of Aklan, through the Aklan Provincial Tourism Office, together with the Local Government Units (LGUs), participated in the Book Launching of the Cultural Mapping Inventories for Panay and Guimaras on June 19, 2026 at the UPV Auditorium, University of the Philippines-Visayas, Iloilo City Campus.

With the generous support of the Office of the Senator Loren Legarda, the Cultural Mapping Inventories for Panay and Guimaras were developed and published through a collaborative partnership with UP Visayas, Regional State Universities and Colleges, Municipal and City Tourism Offices, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and the Department of Environment and Natural Rssources (DENR) Region VI.

This significant event reflects the shared effort and commitment to preserving, promoting, and safeguarding the rich culture, heritage, and invaluable treasures of Western Visayas.
