Please be informed that classes in all levels (public and private) in Kalilangan remain IN SESSION today, July 10, 2026, as the municipality is not currently under any official typhoon warning.

However, in accordance with DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024, School Heads and Principals retain the discretionary authority to suspend classes in their respective schools if localized conditions—such as heavy rain, flooding, or impassable roads—warrant it. Furthermore, under DepEd Order No. 14, series of 2026, school heads are authorized to coordinate with the Schools Division Superintendent and local government unit to implement granular suspension of classes based on the actual situation of the community.

To parents and guardians, please coordinate directly with your child’s school or class advisers for any localized campus updates. Parents always have the final say on whether it is safe to send their children to school based on conditions in their immediate area.
