524ECB Personnel Donates Blood during Bloodletting Activity in Kalilangan, Bukidnon

Kibaritan Military Reservation, Malinao, Kalilangan, Bukidnon – In collaboration with the Provincial Health Office of Bukidnon and LGU-Kalilangan, Bukidnon, the 524th Engineer (BUILDERS) Construction Battalion, 52nd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army participated in the bloodletting activity on 18 November 2022 at Barangay Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon. The bloodletting activity aimed to supplement the blood supply which will be of great help in saving lives during emergencies and life-threatening situations.

LTC REGNAR B PEREZ CE (GSC) PA, the unit’s Commanding Officer, who was ably represented by LTC JOHN MIRE F BREDONIA JR GSC (CE) PA, the Executive Officer of this unit together with 1LT BERNARD BE P BAGORIO (CE) PA, the unit’s CMO Officer were warmly welcomed by Hon. Nestor L. Jumao-as, the Punong Barangay of Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon.

Prior to the start of the bloodletting activity, the personnel from this unit who opted to donate blood were assisted, assessed, and closely monitored by the personnel from Provincial Health Office Bukidnon headed by Dr. Sittie Nihaya B Mangondato, the PHO-Medical Officer who administered the bloodletting.

As a simple gesture of recognizing the unit’s participation in the bloodletting activity, Certificates of Appreciation were given to the twenty (20) personnel of this unit who selflessly donated their blood.

In consonance with Republic Act 7719, also known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994, the 524ECB remains a constant partner of the Philippine National Red Cross and other Government Health Agencies in promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation in ensuring an ample and readily available supply of blood for those who are in medical need of blood transfusion.

524ECB turns over the completed two (2) units parking bay to the 10th Field Accounting Unit, Accounting Service, Philippine Army

On 09 November 2022, the 10th Field Accounting Unit, Accounting Service, Philippine Army led by Ms. Charmy S. Legaspi, CPA, Office Head, inaugurates its newly completed parking bays. The said parking bays were constructed by personnel of Bravo Company, 524th Engineer Construction Battalion, 52nd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army under the supervision of 1LT BERNARD BE P BAGORIO (CE) PA, the Company Commanding Officer.

During the inauguration, LTC REGNAR B PEREZ CE (GSC) PA, 524ECB’s Commanding Officer, duly represented by LTC JOHN MIRE F BREDONIA JR GSC (CE) PA, the Battalion Executive Officer, and Ms. Charmy S. Legaspi, CPA signed the project’s turn-over documents. The signing ceremony was witnessed by LTC JUDY C PASCUA (QMS) PA, 4th Infantry Division’s Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics (G4), and LTC ACHERNAR A LABORDO QMS (GSC) PA, 4th Infantry Division’s Service Support Battalion (SSBn) Commanding Officer.

The 524ECB, as an Army Engineer unit, implements Base System Support Development (BSSD) projects to elevate the facility readiness of permanent military camps as part of improving the Combat Service Support (CSS) responsiveness in providing administrative, logistics, health services, and other supports required by the soldiers of Philippine Army line units.

524ECB and LGU-Cabanglasan Solidifies Convergence for Peace and Development

Kibaritan Military Reservation, Malinao, Kalilangan, Bukidnon – On 23 August 2022, 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗥 𝗕 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗭 𝗖𝗘 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, Commanding Officer, 524th Engineer (BUILDERS) Construction Battalion, 52nd Engineer (KAAYADAN) Brigade, Philippine Army together with 1LT BERNARD BE P BAGORIO (CE) PA, CMO Officer, 524ECB and 1LT NICK ALJO L RANARIO (CE), Commanding Officer, Alpha Company paid a visit to 𝐇𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐍. 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚, the Municipal Mayor of Cabanglasan Bukidnon at Municipal Hall, Cabanglasan, Bukidnon.

During the said visit, the dialogue centered on solidifying the convergence of LGU-Cabanglasan and 524ECB for the completion of the ongoing 5.6KM Road Rehabilitation project undertaken by the unit's Alpha Company at Sitio San Vicente, Brgy Canangaan, Cabanglasan Bukidnon. Likewise, the unit presented to Mayor Obsioma the Engineer Civic Action Programs (ENCAP) conducted by this unit while implementing the aforementioned road project.

𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐙, also assures that the unit, in coordination with the Infantry Units and other stakeholders, will sustain its conduct of Development Support Operations (DSOs) to support the Socio-Economic Development initiatives of the Local Government of Cabanglasan.
