📚✨BukSU-Kalilangan Campus Library is celebrating 90 years of National Book Week! 📖 Choose to read, choose the Philippines. "Piliin ang Magbasa, Piliin ang Pilipinas!" 🇵🇭 Let’s turn the page together.
Here are various activities and competitions that may capture your interest. Kindly review each caption for additional information.
Guidelines for Participants:
1. Eligibility
• All contests are open to students, faculty, and staff of Bukidnon State University.
• Each participant can join multiple contests, but each submission must be unique and specific to the contest entered.
• For team-based contests (e.g., Book Trailer and Advocacy Video), teams should have a maximum of 10 members.
• Prizes, medals and certificates will be given at the Closing Program, November 15, 2024.
• Participants should be present on the Opening Program, November 11, 2024. Criteria for judging will be given during this time.
2. Registration and Submission
• Register for the contest by filling out the official entry form available at the library office or you click and submit here: https://forms.gle/isGod4xE4tbYA1JZA
• Submit your entries to [insert submission platform, email, or physical location here] by the specified deadline.
• All submissions must be original and created specifically for this contest.
• Only one entry per person/team per contest is allowed.
3. Judging and Criteria
• Entries will be judged based on specific criteria for each contest (see individual contest criteria).
• Social media engagement (heart reactions, shares, comments) may be considered in the Book Trailer and Advocacy Video Contests. Social media engagement will be counted within a set timeframe after posting.
• The decision of the judges is final and will be based on both public and panel feedback (where applicable).
4. Content and Originality
• All entries must be original and should not contain copyrighted material without permission.
• Plagiarized or previously submitted work to other contests will be disqualified.
• Content should be appropriate for all audiences and align with the values of Bukidnon State University.
5. Submission Deadlines
• All video entries must be submitted by November 12, 2024.
• Late entries will not be accepted unless an extension is announced.
6. Awards and Recognition
• Winners will be awarded certificates and prizes during the awards ceremony on November 15, 2024, in celebration of National Book Week.
• Winning entries may be featured on Bukidnon State University’s official social media platforms and used for promotional purposes.
7. Terms and Conditions
• By participating, contestants grant Bukidnon State University the right to use their submissions for promotional, educational, and advocacy purposes.
• Participants agree to adhere to these guidelines. Failure to follow any rule may result in disqualification.
