The activity was spearhead by MSWDO Ignacia Mangalao, LAG M&E Focal Mrs. Wineliza Seromines, PC Darwin Cabelin, PDO Nelia Oledan, other LGU stakeholders, PESO Manager Chona Cotiangco, MAO Kananga Carlito Toreon, LGU Kananga DSWD Programs Focal Lemebeth Caparos and selected beneficiaries.

PC Darwin discussed the SIA, while PDO II Oleda discussed the LAG. An open forum was also conducted to open up concerns and issues. Selected beneficiaries who attended shared their testimonies on how LAG improved their lives and livelihood.

The LRPP of LGU Kananga will be submitted on April 21, 2022.

Ormoc City -- On March 16, 2022, PDOs Mark Anthony Canales, Jennifer Canillas and Sean Lim under the guidance of former Ormoc PDO Nelia Oledan in cooridnation with the City Social Welfare and Development Department together with PMEO Ma. Sophia Ibanita attended yesterday the consultation meeting with Cabintan SEA-Kaunlaran Livelihood Association. The purpose of the said consultation meeting was to monitor and assess the association if they are already capable of becoming a prospective service provider for other SLP associaitons and institutional market. Through continuous monitoring and assessment, the Cabintan SEA-Kaunlaran Livelihood Association will be able to realize the aim of the department to strengthen and sustain the livelihoods of every SLPAs.

Ormoc City - On December 16, 2021, Supertyphoon Rai, locally known as Typhoon Odette brought torrential rains, violent winds, floods, and storm surges to the Visayas and Mindanao Islands. Overnight, the Typhoon left hundreds dead and hundreds of thousands of families homeless. One of the hardly hit area is San Francisco in Southern Leyte.
With this, the Ormoc Federation of Sustainable Program Association Incorporated OFSPAI Officers headed by Joel Yahot, OFSPAI president, Ormoc City Livelihood Section headed by Alexandra Kris Valenciano and staff and the 93IB Philippine Army in coordination with SLP So. Leyte Provincial Coordinator Maricel Espina and San Ricardo So. Leyte MSWDO were able to distribute trapal and food items to 140 SLPA members of San Ricardo.
The idea of PDOs Nelia Oledan and Mark Anthony Canales originated during the Federation General Assembly of Ormoc SLPAs December of last year.

Ormoc City -- The Leyte 2 Cluster headed by PC Darwin Cabelin under SFO 2 Team Leader Hermanito Mangalao conducted the 2-day first Cluster Meeting of Leyte 2 Cluster in SFO Ormoc City. The activity focused on the IPC presentation, target presentation, issues and concerns of the new, transferee and previous PDOs and most especially, the team building of the new Leyte 2 Team. It was graced by the presence of Ormoc City Livelihood Section Head Ms. Alenxandrs Kris Valenciano and SFO Team Leader Hermaniti Mangalao. Present on the said activity are the PDOs from Leyte 3rd, 4th and 5th District Municipalities
