𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Personnel of the Kapalong Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐂 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎, conducted a Fire Suppression and Fire Emergency Response Orientation for the employees of the Davao del Norte Hospital – Kapalong Zone, located at Barangay Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance the employees’ knowledge, awareness, and preparedness in preventing and responding effectively to fire emergencies within the hospital. The orientation focused on basic fire prevention and safety measures, the proper use of fire extinguishers and other fire suppression equipment, appropriate actions during a fire emergency, evacuation procedures, and other relevant fire emergency response protocols applicable to a healthcare facility.

The activity aimed to enhance awareness on fire prevention, promote proper safety practices, and strengthen preparedness among business establishments. Discussions focused on hazard identification, fire safety measures, and appropriate emergency response to help ensure the protection of lives and properties.

The activity aimed to promote preparedness and ensure proper emergency response during fire incidents, while enhancing participants’ awareness and skills in fire safety. It included demonstrations on proper evacuation procedures and the correct use of basic firefighting equipment.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 I The Kapalong Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐂 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal conducted an Emergency Response Plan for Business (ERPB) orientation and planning activity for the residents and business owners of Barangay Capungagan, Davao del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance emergency preparedness by identifying potential hazards, formulating evacuation procedures, assigning roles and responsibilities during emergencies, and strengthening coordination among business establishments, the community, and responding agencies.

Participants were encouraged to develop and sustain an effective Emergency Response Plan to ensure the safety of lives, protection of properties, and continuity of business operations during emergencies. This initiative also helped strengthen community resilience and reaffirmed the Bureau of Fire Protection’s commitment to disaster risk reduction and public safety.
