On August 31, 2026, at about 1:00 PM onwards, PNP personnel of 1102ND Maneuver Company, RMFB 11 led by PCpl Ber Jim L Vallar, team leader under the direct supervision of PCPT CHARLIE P SO JR, Officer In-Charge (OIC) together with Bravo Company, 60IB, Led by PFC Jemboy Dumanlas (Inf) PA, conducted 24-Hour Checkpoint Operations in the Regional Border Control Point positioned at Sitio Natulinan, Barangay Palma Gil, Municipality of Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

This activity serves as a critical security measure for crime prevention, law enforcement, and public safety. The PNP strategically places these checkpoints in high-risk areas to enhance peace and order, disrupt criminal activities, and protect citizens.

On National Heroes Day, the Philippine National Police joins the nation in honoring the men and women whose sacrifices helped secure the freedoms and opportunities that Filipinos enjoy today.
