He inspected the classrooms and facilities to make sure everything is clean, organized, and ready. ๐™Ž๐™˜๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™ก ๐™‹๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™ž๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ก ๐™‡๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฃ๐™– ๐™‘. ๐™’๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™ž๐™ฉ warmly welcomed the Mayor and guided him around the campus, proudly showing the improvements and preparations made by the school.

Mayor Awingan expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the teachers, staff, and administrators. The visit highlighted the schoolโ€™s teamwork and commitment to providing a safe and comfortable place for the Kalinga delegates.

School personnel of Buyagan ES actively participated in a wellness Zumba exercise aimed at promoting a healthy heart and overall well-being. This initiative serves as a health promotion activity to help address overweight and obesity among school personnel.

๐Ÿฆทโœจ Buyagan Elementary School Celebrates the 2026 National Dental Health Month โœจ๐Ÿฆท

Buyagan Elementary School proudly joined the celebration of the 2026 National Dental Health Month in partnership with the PDA Benguet Chapter, anchored on the theme โ€œDentistaโ€™y Kaagapay sa Ngiting Walang Humpay.โ€

Around 25 volunteer dentists from the PDA Benguet Chapter led by their Chapter President Dr. Arvin Kindipan generously extended their services to approximately 1,100 learners of Buyagan ES. The activity featured oral health education, supervised toothbrushing drills, and fluoride application, all aimed at strengthening good oral hygiene habits among our learners.

As part of the initiative, all Kindergarten to Grade learners received their own toothbrushing kits, reinforcing the importance of daily oral care both in school and at home.

School Head Maโ€™am Lorna V. Wallit and SPTA President Sir Anthony Licangan extend the schoolโ€™s heartfelt gratitude to the PDA Benguet Chapter for their unwavering support and commitment to promoting healthy and happy smiles among our learners.

2026 NATIONAL TOOTHBRUSHING DAY

Buyagan Elementary School joined the celebration of the 22nd National Dental Health Month with the theme โ€œDentistaโ€™y Kaagapay sa Ngiting Walang Humpay.โ€

The School Nurse, together with the teachers, ensured the successful conduct of a simultaneous toothbrushing drill participated in by learners from Kindergarten to Grade 4.

This activity aimed to promote and advocate the importance of proper oral health care among learners, especially within the school setting, to help instill good dental hygiene habits at an early age.

Through ๐๐‘๐Ž๐‰๐„๐‚๐“ ๐‡๐„๐€๐‘๐“, Buyagan Elementary School continues its strong commitment to holistic education, nurturing both the minds and hearts of its learners. Recently, the project successfully implemented a faith-based HIV/AIDS awareness lecture series aimed at promoting health consciousness anchored in strong moral and spiritual values.

The activity featured engaging and age-appropriate discussions on HIV/AIDS, helping learners understand the importance of self-care, respect, and compassion for others. These discussions encouraged responsible decision-making while addressing misconceptions in a safe, supportive, and learner-friendly environment.

Beyond health education, the activity emphasized spiritual formation through the sharing of the Word of God. Learners were reminded of Godโ€™s love and guidance in their daily lives, reinforcing values such as faith, discipline, kindness, and empathy. The distribution of Bibles further enriched the experience, providing learners with a lasting source of inspiration and moral direction.

Through PROJECT HEART, Buyagan ES continues to live out its mission of educating hearts and transforming lives, shaping learners who are not only informed and healthy but also deeply grounded in faith and values.
