Please be informed that pursuant to Memorandum No. ORCM-JR12-2026-039, issued by the Regional Court Manager of the Twelfth (12th) Judicial Region, court operations in the Regional Trial Court, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, are SUSPENDED on August 26, 2026 (Wednesday), in observance of Maulid-un-Nabi (Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad), a Muslim holiday.

Please be guided accordingly. Thank you.

Ayaw pailad sa mga fixer ug sa mga magpaila nga huwes o empleyado sa korte aron mangayo ug kwarta!

Gipahimangnoan ang tanan nga ang huwes o bisan kinsa nga empleyado sa korte dili gayud manawag, muduol o makig-istorya sa mga akusado, sa mga biktima, mga parte sa usa ka kaso, o sa ilang mga pamilya, aron mangayo ug bisan unsang pabor o bayad.

Wala usab gayu’y bayad nga kinahanglan ihatag sa bisan kinsa aron ma-aprobar ang aplikasyon para Probation o aron mapadali ang kagawasan sa usa ka napriso.

Hinumdumi:

βœ… Ayaw paghatag ug kwarta sa mga fixer o mga magpaila nga adunay koneksiyon sa korte, sa kapulisan, o sa uban pang ahensya sa gobyerno.

βœ… Dili gayud mangayo ug kwarta ang huwes o bisan kinsa nga empleyado sa korte alang sa bisan unsang pabor.

βœ… Kung adunay muduol o manawag kanimo ug mangayo ug kwarta nga muingon nga para kini sa korte, ayaw tuo ug i-report dayon.

βœ… Ang tanan nga fines ug pyansa bayran lamang diretso sa korte.

βœ… Libre ang abogado sa Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) ug Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP), ug dili sila mangayo ug bisan unsa nga bayad o kwarta.

Hon. Jihan Gift C. Gonzaga-Morong, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, received courtesy visits from PMAJ Rejie Bonn R. Pagaduan, the newly installed Officer-in-Charge of the Kapatagan Municipal Police Station, as well as from the newly installed officials of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC), Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office (LDN PPO), led by PLTCOL Ahmad O. Sanihin, Force Commander, together with PMAJ Neil Clifton Pugoy, Platoon Leader (3rd Platoon), and accompanying 2nd PMFC personnel.

The courtesy visits reinforced the value of inter-agency collaboration in advancing the efficient administration of justice and the delivery of responsive public service.

Yesterday, July 20, 2026, the personnel of Regional Trial Court, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, gathered over lunch to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Tim M. Ababa, Process Server, after 32 years of dedicated service to the Judiciary.

With grateful hearts, we thank and congratulate Tim for his 32 years of faithful service, commitment, and invaluable contributions to the Court.

A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE FOR THE JUSTICE SECTOR IN LANAO DEL NORTE

RTC Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, through official representation, joined the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the Multi-Purpose Building Complex in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, for Offices under the Department of Justice.

Designed to serve as the new home of the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Lanao del Norte, the facility will likewise house the Public Attorney’s Office Tubod District Office and the Lanao del Norte Parole and Probation Office.

This project represents another step towards a more accessible, efficient, and responsive justice system in the province.

RTC Branch 21, Kapatagan, extends its warmest congratulations to the Department of Justice, under the leadership of Secretary Fredderick A. Vida; the Office of the First District Representative of Lanao del Norte, led by Congresswoman Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo; the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, under Governor Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo; and the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Lanao del Norte, headed by Provincial Prosecutor Nurjaypha R. Bacaraman-Asum, for this meaningful undertaking.

May this landmark project further strengthen our justice institutions and advance the shared commitment to accessible, efficient, and people-centered public service.

A MEANINGFUL CLOSE TO JUDICIARY MONTH:
Creating Safe Spaces, Inspiring Young Hearts

As the Judiciary Month celebration drew to a meaningful close, the Regional Trial Court, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, under the leadership of Hon. Jihan Gift C. Gonzaga-Morong, reaffirmed its commitment to child-sensitive justice through two meaningful initiatives.

The Court hosted a Poster-Making Activity for the children of Bahay Pag-asa and the Provincial Women and Children Center (PWCC), providing them with a creative avenue for self-expression while fostering hope, confidence, and empowerment.

The occasion also marked the official opening of the Court’s β€œChildren’s Safe Space,” highlighted by a simple ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Judge Gonzaga-Morong. While the facility is still a work in progress, it represents the Court’s continuing commitment to developing a dedicated child-friendly space where children may feel safe, respected, and at ease whenever they come to court. The initiative embodies Judge Gonzaga-Morong’s vision of making RTC Branch 21 not only a place where justice is administered, but a space where every child is treated with dignity, compassion, and care.

The activity was participated in by representatives from the Lanao del Norte Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), whose invaluable partnership with the Court continues to strengthen efforts to protect and promote the welfare of children.

As Judiciary Month comes to a close, may this initiative be one of many steps toward fostering a more compassionate and child-friendly justice system. For in a truly just society, every child deserves not only to be heard, but to feel safe.

SC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation

In a spirit of unity and shared commitment to public service, RTC Branch 21, Kapatagan, together with MTC Kapatagan, MCTC Lala-Salvador, MTC Sultan Naga Dimaporo, MCTC Sapad-Nunungan, and SCC Kapatagan, jointly celebrated the 125th Anniversary of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

The gathering brought together judges and court personnel from the participating courts, including Hon. Jihan Gift C. Gonzaga-Morong, Executive/Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 21 Kapatagan, Hon. Bernarda Bantiles-Villanueva, Presiding Judge of MCTC Lala-Salvador, and Hon. Yusoph Abbas, Jr., Presiding Judge of MCTC Sapad-Nunungan and Acting Presiding of MTC SND.

Guided by the theme, β€œSC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation,” the event celebrated the legacy of the Judiciary and its continuing pursuit of innovation in the delivery of justice.

A special highlight of the celebration was a surprise tribute in honor of Hon. Bernarda Bantiles-Villanueva as she approaches her well-deserved retirement from judicial service. The tribute served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for her years of dedicated service, exemplary leadership, and invaluable contributions to the Judiciary.

As the Supreme Court marks this historic milestone, the participating courts reaffirm their dedication to upholding the ideals of justice, integrity, and excellence in service to the Filipino people.
