IMPORTANTENG PAHIBALO: PAGKAWALA SA SUPLAY SA TUBIG SA PIPILA KA MGA BARANGAY SA LUNGSOD SA KATIPUNAN

Ugma, August 5, 2026 (Miyerkules), dunay pagkawala o pagkapalong sa suplay sa tubig sa mga musunod nga barangay sugod sa alas otso (8AM) sa buntag:

1. Daanglungsod
2. San Antonio
3. Dr. Jose Rizal

Ang rason sa pagkapalong mahitungod sa mga repair nga pagabuhaton sa atong mga personahe sa water works systems office didto sa main nga linya sa tubig.

Dili pa gyud sila makahatag ug oras kung kanus-a mabalik ang agas sa tubig. Paningkamotan nila nga mahuman ug repair sa labing daling panahon ugma ang mga ayuhonon sa suplay sa tubig.

Kami mangayo sa inyong pagsabot ug pasensya. Ug mahimo sugod karon, magtigom na ug tubig mintras nga ugma pa sa buntag palungon.

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 – 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in coordination with the Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO), successfully conducted the Barangay Rescuelympics 2026 on July 28, 2026, at the Municipal Plaza, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, in celebration of the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month.

The activity brought together participants from various barangays to strengthen their disaster preparedness, emergency response capabilities, and teamwork through a series of rescue and emergency response challenges.

The Local Government Unit of Katipunan extends its sincere appreciation to all participating barangays, organizers, and partner agencies for their dedication and commitment to building a safer, better-prepared, and more resilient community.

Together, let us continue to foster a culture of preparedness and resilience.

Municipal Mayor 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝗔. 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗴 warmly welcomed the courtesy call of 𝗣𝗟𝗧 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮, Deputy Chief of Police, together with 𝗣𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀, Acting Chief of Police, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴, LTO Representative, at the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

The courtesy visit served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and foster collaboration between the Local Government Unit of Katipunan, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Land Transportation Office (LTO). The meeting reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting public safety, enhancing the delivery of public services, and working together for the welfare of the people of Katipunan.

Mayor 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝗔. 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗴, together with Governor 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗨𝘆, Provincial Board Members, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 of Katipunan, Barangay Uno officials, led by Punong Barangay 𝗬𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮, and residents, joined the celebration of the 𝟱𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗼.

Carrying this year’s theme, “𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄” the celebration served as a meaningful gathering that honored Barangay Uno’s rich history, recognized outstanding individuals for their invaluable contributions, and celebrated the unity and shared aspirations of the community.

The occasion reflected the strong partnership among the Provincial Government, the Municipal Government of Katipunan, and the people of Barangay Uno in advancing community development and promoting meaningful progress. As Barangay Uno celebrates another milestone, may its legacy of unity and service continue to inspire future generations.

📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

SIMULATION EXERCISE ON ACTIVE SHOOTING AND STABBING INCIDENT

Katipunan Municipal Police Station, in coordination with Katipunan National High School and other partner agencies, will conduct a Simulation Exercise on Active Shooting and Stabbing Incident.

📅 Date: July 10, 2026 (Today)
🕞 Simulation Exercise: 4:00 PM

This activity is only a simulation drill designed to improve the preparedness and emergency response of students, teachers, staff, and responders during critical incidents.

⚠️ Please do not panic. There is no actual emergency. We encourage everyone to remain calm and cooperate with school authorities and emergency personnel throughout the exercise.

Remember:

RUN if there is a clear and safe escape route.
HIDE if you cannot safely evacuate.
FIGHT only as a last resort and only if your life is in immediate danger.
