Today, the Municipality of Katipunan, under the leadership of Mayor Maiko Wong, warmly received the newly installed Provincial Link of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Zamboanga del Norte, Ms. Evalinda A. Jimeno, SWO IV/Provincial Link, during a courtesy visit at the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

She was accompanied by Ms. Odette O. Senining, Social Welfare Officer III, and Atty. Angelica L. Dela Cerna, Provincial Grievance Officer, together with other staff of the 4Ps program.
The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and further reinforce the partnership between the Local Government Unit of Katipunan and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the effective implementation of the 4Ps program.

The Municipality expresses its appreciation for the visit and looks forward to a stronger and more collaborative partnership in delivering responsive and inclusive social protection services for the benefit of 4Ps partner beneficiaries.

The Municipality of Katipunan, led by Mayor Maiko Wong, was honored by the visit of CDR ROMEL B. DUA, PCG – Station Commander of Coast Guard Station Zamboanga del Norte, during a courtesy call at the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

The visit aimed to strengthen coordination and partnership between the Local Government Unit and the Philippine Coast Guard in promoting public safety, security, and community development.
This engagement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to foster cooperation and strengthen partnerships for the welfare and progress of the community.

The Municipality of Katipunan, under the leadership of Mayor Maiko Wong, welcomed the officers of Alpha Company, 97th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army (97IB, PA), during a courtesy call at the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and partnership between the Local Government Unit and the Philippine Army in promoting peace and order, public safety, and community development within the municipality.

𝙈𝙖𝙮 7, 2026 | 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡

𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝟯𝗖 𝗧𝗨𝗠 𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗟 𝗚. 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗘, member of PNPA “SIDLAK-DAYAW” Class of 2029, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Jose Michael Meiko A. Wong, Municipal Mayor of Katipunan.

During the visit, CDT Redoble expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Wong for the support and assistance extended to him, particularly for helping with his plane ticket during the early stage of his journey toward becoming a cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy.

The courtesy call served as a meaningful moment of appreciation and inspiration, reflecting the importance of determination, perseverance, and the continued support of leaders who encourage the youth in pursuing their dreams and future careers in public service.
