VOCAL DUET GUIDELINES!

1. Eligibility Criteria

Team Composition: Each group must consist of exactly two (2) performers.

Amateur Status: Open only to local, non-professional singers.

Municipal Exclusion Rule: Anyone who has previously joined, auditioned, or competed in any municipal-level singing contest (or higher) is strictly disqualified from entering.

Age Limit: NO AGE LIMIT!

Residency: Contestants must be official residents of Barangay Dr. Jose Rizal

2. Song Selection & Performance

Genre: Open to any genre.

Language: Songs may be in English, Filipino, or local dialects.

Theme: Songs must not contain offensive, profane, or politically sensitive lyrics.

Accompaniment: Teams may use a high-quality backing track (Minus-One) or play a maximum of two acoustic instruments.

Participants are encouraged to wear:
WHITE TSHIRT
MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES
All participants must register before the event; no on-the-spot registration will be allowed.
Assembly area opens at 4:00 AM; participants must arrive on time for the warm-up.
Participants must wear their race bibs visibly throughout the run.
Runners must follow the designated route for their category. Marshals will be stationed along the route for guidance and safety.
Hydration stations will be available along the course.
Any runner found cheating, shortcutting, or violating race rules will be automatically disqualified.
The organizers are not liable for any loss or injury during the event, but first aid will be available on-site.
This is a fun run, not a competitive race—however, the top 3 finishers per category will receive special recognition and tokens.
After the run, participants are encouraged to stay for the cool-down activity and short program led by
SK.
